  • What's up with the feathers?

    By on

This is what I have always feed my goldens and they have done well. But lately I have been finding yellow chicken feathers in the food. Chicken feathers have no nutritional value. What is up with that?

  • An excellent food

I've been feeding little Misty Basic Instinct dog food for years. Her coat is healthy (it also gets combed daily), her teeth are strong (they also get brushed daily) and her eyes are still sparkly. She's about 9 years old (rescued in 2009) and is my happy little 10 lb pup.

Excellent price, and excellent dog food. So nice to hear the crunching of the dog food as my dog eats it, and truly enjoys it- and it is good for him!

  • Good quality food both Dogs love it

Good quality food real small kibble. Have a 12 year old Lab and a 4 year old lab mix. Both love it. Not a lot of filler so there is a lot less to clean in the yard.

  • healthy ingredients

My dog seems to like this food. Sometimes she w dive into it & sometimes she won't eat it. It's not because of the taste - she thinks she's going to eat our human food. Eventually she goes back to her dish.

  • Natures Variety works well for my dog.

    By on

Hello, I typically get the chicken & brown rice and sometimes get the Lamb & rice. I almost didn't buy from you due to my last purchase of the lamb. As soon as I open it, my dog usually goes crazy and will begin to eat right out of the bag if he is close. He smelled it and turned away and it took a lot for me to do to doctor it up for him to finish the whole bag. I believe it was stale and have had that happen from time to time with this food from other pet stores. Happy to say, this bag is good and my dog is loving it again. The food is good for his coat and for cleaning up in the yard, as everything stays firm. Thanks, will continue with you but will definitely check dates next time.

  • Great Food!

    By on

The most important buying feature is 'will he eat it?' The answer--yes, and with gusto. I make dog food at home, so this dry food supplements his daily intake. I have confidence that it tastes good and is good for him.

I want to Thank Chewy, for exchanging the Merrick, to Nature's Prairie. After trying the Nature's Prairie, my pup decided he likes Merrick better! What a struggle to get my 7 month old chow pup, on quality food he likes. The Merrick seems to be the one for now. I am so pleased with! Everyone is so pleasant when I call. I love the auto ship. And I see they also have the wet food he likes as well. I will be with Chewy for a long time, as my little guy is only 7 months old.
