  • What a difference!

I have a blind nearly 17 yr old cocker spaniel who is now deaf and a 9 yr old now blind yorkie/sitsu. Vet said the cocker had arthritis in her legs, especially her hind ones. She also had difficulties jumping up on the bed. I have tried other products from other companies that didn't work as well and this coupled with the Hip & Joint Advanced Senior Wellness. And she will eat it! That has always been an issue. After two weeks Dutchess is now able to jump up on sofa, is easily more mobile than she has been for a long time. I also purchased the wide wooden steps that both dogs have learned to use. I had developed golfer's elbow on one side and doc said it would develop on the other if I continued I have a blind nearly 17 yr old cocker spaniel who is now deaf and a 9 yr old now blind yorkie/sitsu. • Wasnt aware these were wafer tablets!

    By on Top 500 Contributor

I wasnt aware these tablets were the size of wafers. My dog wont eat them willingly, I have to attempt to break them apart and hide them in some meat and even then she wont eat all of the pieces. If I had known these were large wafer tablets, I would of got a different supplement that are capsules or small tabs. I have to give my dog 3 of these because shes over 75 pounds, so its pain trying to hide them in meat. I dont recommend these if u have a dog who is stubborn to take large tablets, plus they dont smell appetizing at all.

  • Not working

    By on

#1 my girl does not like them. She turns her nose every time I try to give them to her. I give them to her daily but it takes alot of bribing to get them in her. #2 I have not noticed any improvement at all. I will continue giving to her until the 2 bottles that I purchased are gone but unless I start noticing a difference I will not buy again. They might work for some but so far not for her.

  • good addition for my dog

I have been giving my dog Ivy S.O.D. and Bosweila tablets along with Hip Flex level three for several years now, with great success. But Ivy is now 16 years old as of November, and recently her back leg was shaking a bit. I bought Senior Care aches and Discomfort Dog Tablets, and it was the exact extra she needed to help her. I only gave her one a day and it helped. I love Nature Vet products they have always worked for my dogs. I am a breeder of Golden Retrievers and will use Nature Vet for my dogs when they need it. Ivy has been rolling in the snow like a puppy, at 16 years old!

  • Really made a difference

First, to be honest, I also have him on another supplement. However, when I used to give him that supplement alone, he didn't seem to improve, nor did he improve on a combo of chondroitin/glucosamine/msm that I'd put together for him. He's old and very arthritic. I've gotten some weight off of him, which helps, but he was really suffering all the time. I put him on NSAIDS which helped with the pain quite a bit. However, they don't treat the underlying problem, and more directly, he has a collapsed trachea and the NSAIDS aggravated the condition so much that he was wracked with coughing fits all day every day. I felt I was caught between severe pain, or no pain but life-threatening coughing fits First, to be honest, I also have him on another supplement. I felt I was caught between severe pain, or no pain but life-threatening coughing fits. In desperation I tried this, because of the cost and good reviews. His pain load has decreased by about 80%, and he's now back to "normal" coughing fits for a dog with a collapsed trachea. I'm reordering for sure. … more
