The Neater Feeder solves the pet food mess problem and protects your floors! It's designed with protective walls to contain splashes and spills from an inadvertent kick or an excited pet. The revolutionary system holds spilled food in an upper reservoir while spilled water flows down a gentle slope through a filtering system. The spilled water drains into a lower reservoir that can safely contain more than an entire bowl of spilled water, keeping it off the floor until you are ready to dispose of it. Keeping the spilled food in the upper reservoir, off the floor, not only saves you work, but also keeps it clean for reuse.

Neater Feeder Elevated Dog Bowls, Bronze is rated 4.9 out of 5 by 136.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good for large collie I purchased this feeder mostly to lift the bowls from the floor for my collie's comfort while eating. The "neater" part was secondary, but is nice. My dog is still messy when he drinks his water, but I knew that would happen. The feeder does help by catching his dribbles as he's drinking, but of course, when he turns his head, he still manages to get some water on the floor. That isn't the feeder's fault, of course, and as I wrote, my main purpose in buying it was for my dog's comfort. The "neater" part is a bonus. This is a costly item, which is okay, but since I had to purchase additional legs to make it the correct height for my large dog, that added to the cost. I would prefer if the legs were either included if desired, or offered for a lower price since the cost of this set is somewhat high. I am very glad I purchased this set. Once my dog got over his initial reluctance about trying something new (and with a few treats to tempt him), he is happily using his new feeder set.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This saved my floors! My collie is a very messy eater and drinker. Before I bought this, he was constantly tipping over his food and water bowls. I had to keep rugs and towels on the floor, at all times. The laminate floor actually started separating from the water spilling. I tried all different types of bowls that were supposedly unspillable. Nothing worked. This feeder does the job! Even when he tries to tip it, the water and food stays contained. He can push it with his nose, paw at it, head butt it, and I can even kick it and the food and water still stays within the enclosed walls. My cat actually jumps up onto the feeder to drink from the dog's water bowl and the feeder does not tip! If you have a taller dog, I suggest getting the extender legs. The feeder seems to be at an awkward height for larger dogs, if you do not use the legs. I highly recommend. It is pricey, but well worth it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No more water on the floor! I bought this because I have 4 sloppy dogs. We always had water on the floor. We are using this strictly for water. And it's working! No more water in the floor!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It is nice... But low to the ground. It is really nice and keeps the dog food in. One bowls is larger than the other. One food and one water. The downside is that it sits low and you have to buy the riser legs separately at more of a cost. So the you end up spending more money to get the feeder you want for a large dog and it already is costly to begin with. I would suggest looking for a complete feeding system first..You may even save money that way.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Neater Feeder I already had one for my Rottie and I just love it. I'am rescueing another dog so that is why I order another one. Any body that has a dog shoud get one it is the best. It really keeps things so much cleaner. I was disappointed that I had to pay so much more for this one. The first one only coast $19.99 and it came with the extenders. If you have a large dog you might want to get the extenders too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best feeding system ever!!! I am a neat freak and was afraid that having a dog would mean having a mess around the house, but after reading the reviews I decided to try this one and I'm so glad I did. No mess to worry about, best purchase ever!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Containment! We have a 65 lb German Shepherd/Doberman mix, 24 inches at the shoulders. She is very sloppy when she drinks, especially. This product does everything it says it does. It keeps the area contained and requires very little maintenance. We got the large model for our size dog, the bowls be plenty ample for the 2 cups of food and water; bowls are 7 cups in volume. We didn't think the elevation of the feeding station would matter that much but it seems to as she seems to be a bit less messy in the contained area than she was before with a standard bowl setup. I also read that it is healthy for larger dogs to eat from an elevated surface for digestion health. I believe it now. I highly recommend this system for feeding any dog.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just What We Needed One of our Golden Retrievers is the messy water drinker I have ever had. With the water bowl on the floor, she puts her paw in while she drinks, sloshes water all over the floor/carpet, and then tracks water all over the house. We finally found this raised item that we use and it works great. We fill both bowls with water, and it is high enough that she doesn't put her foot in the water bowls, and most of the water sloshes into the catch section below. I am amazed how much I pour out every day or two. This hasn't completely stopped her water dribbling, but has definitely reduced the water mess.
