  • Tasty and good for puppy

We decided to switch to a grain free dog food and feel that this is one of the best out there . It solved the problem of loose poops almost immediately and I didn't have to gradually introduce it to the diet I just did it right away with no issues

I bought this food for a new puppy. The Puppy did not like the food, so it had to be returned. I cannot fairly rate this product

  • Tasty Turkey

    By on

As an owner of a large breed Labrador puppy / dog it's nice to finally see kibble that is larger than the size of a pea. This is great because he does not choke on this kibble like he did with the smaller kibbles. This kibble also gives him something to chew on instead of just swallowing it whole. He was also burned out on other high quality grain free kibbles that had a high content of fish meal so he took right to the turkey in this one. Excellent kibble thank you.

  • Picky puppy loves this!

When we got our Daniff puppy she came to us eating an adult dog food. We spoke with our vet and switched her over to a large breed puppy food. She didn't seem to like it, she's pretty picky about what she eats. She didn't really like the adult food, she reluctantly ate her previous puppy food. She dislikes most treats so it became my mission to find a food she would like. I came across the NOW! Fresh large breed puppy food on chewy and decided to give it a shot. We ended up just feeding her this without transitioning and were happy to say she had 0 issues with gas or diarrhea. In fact she had better stools then with her old brand. She actually likes it and I don't have to add anything to it to get her to eat it. She looks fantastic and has been doing great. We will continue to order this for our picky spoiled puppy! … more

Bought this food because of the great reviews, my 15 week old Newfie puppy will not eat this food. I can't even get him to try a piece as a treat. Back to the drawing board :(

As you can tell from my title my pup (currently 9 months old, 65lb. boxer/shepherd mix) had some difficulties with the original choices that I made for his food. The first was a well-known brand that was a great choice initially but then he started with really (really) loose stools that, after much research and trial and error, we determined the food was the problem. The next brand, also well known and respected, made him poop massive amounts so I knew it was not being digested/processed appropriately. The third, a very expensive brand he would not even touch...he hated it. I contacted Chewy and they recommended NowFresh. • Finally a Firm Stool

We have a 6 month old chocolate lab who loves to eat but a lot of items don't seem to mesh well with her. She either had diarrhea or at best a not-so-firm stool. Being a city dog, there really isn't a lot of grass area for her to do her business, so she often has to rely on the sidewalk, but with a stool that isn't firm and easy to clean it was messy and embarrassing to clean up to the best of our abilities. Our vet said that she may be allergic to chicken (apparently it is a very common allergy), which was in her food that she came home with, so we began our search for finding a food that was chicken free. She did better, but still wasn't great. It wasn't until we were at the dog park and noticed We have a 6 month old chocolate lab who loves to eat but a lot of items don't seem to mesh well with her. It truly has been a blessing to have found such a wonderful product that works. … more

my 8 1/2 mo old newfoundland likes this kibble just fine: took to it right away (no transition) and digests it better than what he was eating before (e.g. good stools, easy to pick up!)
