Nutramax Dasuquin with MSM Joint Health Small/Medium Dog Supplement, Small/Medium Dogs (under 60-lbs), 150 count
Nutramax has combined over ten years of clinical use and research on their joint health supplement Cosequin with their research in advanced joint health ingredients in developing Dasuquin, a cost-effective formulation for dogs. Dasuquin combines NMX1000 ASU (avocado/soybean unsaponifiables) and decaffeinated tea with Cosequin's FCHG49 glucosamine hydrochloride and TRH122 low molecular weight chondroitin sulfate to provide the most comprehensive joint health management formula available for dogs. Dasuquin is a dual synergistic formula: its specific glucosamine hydrochloride and low molecular weight chondroitin sulfate have demonstrated synergy in stimulating cartilage matrix production, while ASU also acts synergistically with glucosamine.

Ive been giving my 15 year old pug Dasuquin (soft chews) for about 2 years, and he loves them. i give him one as a 'treat' during his morning walk. but with the hopes to save a bit of money, I chose to try the chewable tablets this time. My very treat obsessed dog has no interest in these. unfortunately i now have months worth, so i will have to try putting it in his food instead. i feel bad, since he always looked forward to his treat on his morning walk. wont purchase again.
also it should be noted that these tablets are very large and extremely dificult to break in half.B

My 10yo Shitzu had been showing symptoms of arthritis.. limping, not as active. My vet suggested fish oil and glucosamine, but I had a hard time finding the right dosage. Started adding this product to his daily treats, and I see a difference already in just a few weeks. Happy I found this!
It is working

My Buttercup have been taking half of her pills now for about 2 weeks and it is helping her with her ability to walk she have luxiating patella and we her vet and specialists are not opting for surgery she is 6 lbs and a Yorkie I see such improvement both her legs collapsed I believe it is draining inflammation and relieving her pain she even was shaking and playing with her toy and walked up her steps and down to get in her bed and chair and she would not and could not do before. Only thing I see her eyes leaks I am assuming it is from the pills releasing fluid maybe.
They changed the shape and consistency of pill. Harder for my 14 year old Fox Terrier to chew it.

Why did they change the shape and consistency of the pill?. It apparently is harder to chew as my dog spit it out at first. When she tries to chew it she struggles unlike with the softer, flatter version.
An outstanding supplement for dogs!

Love this product! Have been using this supplement with our little dog for over a year and find it to be most effective in maintaining bone strength. Our dog looks forward to getting a tablet each day and considers it a special treat. I highly recommend Nutramax Dasuquin with MSM.
So far so good

We just started this product as recommended by our vet for our 11 1/2 yr old Maltese. It's only been a week and I can see some improvements already. They say it could take around 6 weeks so I'm hoping for continued progress

This has been great for my 13 year old Aussie. I noticed a big difference after 2 weeks on it. I recently started my other Aussies on it as well. My 7 year old has a back issue and is improved and my 9 year old that does agility seems to feel great. I can't say enough good about this. My vet recommended it!
Seems to be working

I started giving my baby Dasuquin about a week and a half ago. Although it may be a little too early to say it does the trick, but I can say, it seems to be helping some. She is still having a little stiffness and problems getting going, but after she warms her little leg up, she starts to walk normal. I'm just hoping that after the initial 4-6 week period, she will be like her old self and not having problems getting up and walking.
2nd dog we have used on

Our last beagle took Dasuquin MSM and it helped her get around at 15 yrs old. Now using it on our 3 year old beagle- she is a little stiff when she wakes up- after 2 weeks there is such a difference .
The cold NE weather in the winter and not being out and running has made her a little stiff . She is now jumping right up
Seems to be helping....

I got these for my dog who seemed to be stiff in his hind end when he was getting up. I thought that it would help his joints. I have been using them for about two weeks now and they do seem to be helping him. I probably should have checked in with his vet first though. The pills are supposed to be chewable but they are large and my dog wants no part of them so I crush them and mix them in with his food. I am surprised because he is so picky but he is eating them with his food.
