Rated 1 out of 5 by creambailey These pills are way to big to stick down my dogs throat.
The pills are so big that I'm having a very hard time getting them down my dogs throat. I've never had a problem giving him pills & no matter how I try to disguise them , nothing works. They are a bright blue & the color comes off on my hands. I understand there is a chewable version, so I would recommend that instead of these.

Rated 5 out of 5 by marleysmom Good price!
My vet recommended this and ordered and sold us a box of 30 for over $80. This price was much more reasonable - especially since our boy will be on it the rest of his life.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jimmie I am believing in this product. Its going to work well for my dog.
I am into the second month, on the way to the third month. After the third month, I will review my dog's reading and I am very confident that this product has done its good work to solve the problem . If I am to continue Denamarin for my dog, I will certainly do so.
I be will more than happy to pass good words to other regarding this product.
"Thank you Chewy' for Denamarin.

Rated 5 out of 5 by BillD It's Working For Our Big Guy
Our big guy Charlie (8 yo Catahoula mix) has had elevated liver enzymes for several years now. He has been through multiple tests to determine if he possibly has Cushing's disease (results are still inconclusive). Our vet recommended Denamarin six weeks ago. Charlie just had his follow up checkup and his enzymes have dropped almost 150 points from the mid 500s - this is still elevated, but heading in the right direction. We'll have him retested in another six weeks.
As some reviewers have mentioned, this product is recommended to be taken on an empty stomach; however, after speaking with our vet, this is only because the medicine is better absorbed that way. It can also be given up to two hours after mealtime and should be absorbed as well. No harm should be done if these times are not met - the medicine just won't be absorbed as well as if on an empty stomach. Charlie gets his pill in a little almond butter when I wake up in the morning, and this doesn't seem to have negatively affected him in any way (other than he expects his 'treat' as soon as I wake up).

My older dog (13+years) is on Rimadyl for an injury induced arthritis condition. (She was a recuse) I wanted to put her on Milk Thistle to help protect her liver, but my vet recommended Denamarin. After 7 weeks her liver enzyme values were re-tested and there was definite improvement in her liver values. It is expensive, but so worth it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Terri Never really got to use it
I ordered this from the advice of my Vet. It was much cheaper then anyone else so I was happy for that. I can't say I would recommend it for my Dog only had one pill. He was very sick and did not make it past that:-(. I thought of checking to see if they would take it back since we only used one but it was already opened so I figured they would not. I have to say for future items I will check with this company first for they do seem to be cheaper.
