Grass Guard chicken wafers neutralize the potential for high pH (alkaline) urine that can damage grass. This tasty wafer promotes a healthy pet and spotless lawn.

Key Benefits

  • A perfectly green law can turn burn very quickly when your pup takes care of "business" out back. Elevated levels of nitrogen in their system and an alkaline pH contribute to burnt spots on your lawn.
  • These chicken flavor wafers helps stop lawn burn by neutralizing nitrogenous waste and maintaining slightly acidic urine pH.
  • Contains Yucca Schidigera which is a plant that contains natural saponins and glycoproteins that help maintain a healthy digestive tract.
  • Binds ammonia in urine (and feces) to prevent lawn burn. dl-Methionine is a sulfur-containing essential amino acid that helps acidify urine.
  • Grass Guard can take up to 6 weeks to be fully effective in your pup.

Note: New look, same great product!

  • Stinky cookies - still too early to tell

    By on

We have been giving the dog this cookies for the last 2 weeks. It may be too early to see results so we will continue and finish the bag and come and update the review. The smell of the cookies is really pungent. We had to convince the puppy to eat them at first, because he did not eat it out of the bag. Took some convincing and now he eats them fine. If your dog is finicky it won't go for it.

  • Love Nutri-Vet Grass Guard Wafers!

    By on

I have been using this product for several years. My dog's poop has very little smell and has a slightly green color. As far as I can tell, his urine does not negatively impact plants. I love your price for this product, about half what it is at a store. It arrived well-packaged.

  • Excellent Snacks

    By on

My 13" beagles not only love these odd smelling snacks, but they also work. They each get 1 snack in the morning and 1/2 a snack at night. No more brown spots in my lawn and as an added bonus, my 10 year old beagle's plaque-riddled teeth are now shiney white! My vet and I knew he couldn't risk being put under to get his teeth cleaned, so we weren't sure what to do. We are both thrilled at the results of these extra crunchy snacks!

  • Un-edible

    By on

My dog is not finicky at all, yet when I tried to give him these treats, he just wouldn't take them. I tried cutting it up and adding it with his food and he would spit them out. So on that note, I would have to give it a poor rate since I will not be able to use them at all. Hence my lawn will have to be maintained some other way.
