  • Works well

Less pricey than other canned. Pate consistency. Works well for giving multiple medications. Dissolves easily when mixing into kibble with a little warm water. Dogs like it. No yucky smell.

  • Great for dogs who need low fat diets

    By on

This has been a great low fat food for both of my Cavaliers. One has to be on the lowest fat diet I can find due to stones in his liver. My other Cavalier is elderly, has no teeth left and this has been a good choice to keep him at a good weight. I've been very happy with this Nutro product and also use the Nutro treats.

  • Great quality low calorie can dog food

    By on

My Vet said to keep my Lab's weight down and only buy can food that listed calories on label, trying to stay below 1000 calories per can. He said if calories are not listed on label, don't buy it. This is great quality, low calorie can dog food.

  • An OTC low fat dog food

    By on

My older Basset is on a prescription low fat canned dog food, so I was delighted to find an OTC canned dog food with fat almost as low as the prescription food that I now use for my younger basset.

  • This product has shown me it works for weight loss!

    By on

I was drawn to Nutro Lite because previous users indicated that it promoted weight loss even if both dog and their parents where not the exercising type! Chewy has the BEST price for both canned and dry and she ate both products from day one with no problem. You can see the quality of this product. Have currently been using for two weeks and had a vet appointment just yesterday and our 'big' girl has lost 4 pounds! I highly recommend!

  • Inflexible Geriatric Bichon

    By on

I thought my almost 12-year old Bichon might like something different for dinner. I was proved wrong--he has never had a pate-type canned food and really hates it. It smells good to me, but he is so spoiled at this stage of his life that I guess I can't make a change from what he is used to. I have learned my lesson.
