Key Benefits

  • This low-calorie, high-fiber formula provides all the nutrients dogs need — without the extra calories. Perfect for gods who have a few pounds to lose.
  • Number-one ingredient is great-tasting, Real Australian and New Zealand lamb, which delivers amino acids to build muscle and maintain a healthy metabolism. Give your dog all she needs to thrive and stay healthy.
  • The blend of high fiber and the right protein level helps dogs feel full, which can reduce overall food intake to aid in weight loss.
  • Nutro's reduced feeding guidelines provide optimal nutrition to help your dog lose weight for a lean body condition. Keeping your dog's weight at an ideal level will enhance the longevity and quality of life.
  • Nutro's dedicated team of experts tailor their formulas to your pet's life stage and health condition. They only use natural ingredients that they directly buy and can trace back to their suppliers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from An OTC low fat dog food My older Basset is on a prescription low fat canned dog food, so I was delighted to find an OTC canned dog food with fat almost as low as the prescription food that I now use for my younger basset.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for dogs who need low fat diets This has been a great low fat food for both of my Cavaliers. One has to be on the lowest fat diet I can find due to stones in his liver. My other Cavalier is elderly, has no teeth left and this has been a good choice to keep him at a good weight. I've been very happy with this Nutro product and also use the Nutro treats.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great quality low calorie can dog food My Vet said to keep my Lab's weight down and only buy can food that listed calories on label, trying to stay below 1000 calories per can. He said if calories are not listed on label, don't buy it. This is great quality, low calorie can dog food.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice Low Fat Mix-In 2 of my dogs require an ultra low fat diet. This Lite version has 2.5% (as fed) of fat and is highly tasty to the dogs and is of a consistency that really allows it to mix in well with the kibble. There are brands slightly lower in fat, a bit lower if calories, made from more meat and less carbs - but hugely more expensive. So I am pleased and will be continuing to feed this (and save some money at the same time)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Meets my expectations New to this brand but my dogs really like it. Texture is like a pate kind of whipped. I mix this canned food with the dry kibble so it coats each little bit.
