Instructions

It's important to select the proper size and type of chew for your dog's age, weight and chewing strength. Non-edible chews should be large enough to encourage chewing from the side rather than top and bottom. If you have more than one dog in your household, select chews appropriate for the largest, strongest chewer.

Always supervise the use of all chews and toys. Inspect before giving to your dog to make sure it's whole and intact. Check frequently and replace if worn or damaged.

Hand wash with warm soapy water and rinse thoroughly.

  • Not as sturdy as other Nylabones

    By on

I feel like this toy is much smaller than I anticipated. I've purchased other Nylabones in the past and they've held up much better. My pup is a 1.5 year old, 35 lb., pit bull mix and is very destructive. I feel like this is better suited for medium chewers and would probably last quite a long time for them. Unfortunately, my dog is already getting small chunks of the plastic off of it so I often have to take it away and really monitor her. I'll go back to purchasing the more bone-shaped Nylabones that are larger and made from a tougher materials because she can only get rice-sized or smaller shavings off of those at once so it makes me feel much more comfortable with her chewing on them I feel like this toy is much smaller than I anticipated. • Just ok in my dog's mind; perfect in mine!

    By on

Great size for a large dog who aggressively chews. Also good for allergic dogs because this is plant based with no animal protein flavor. The dog rarely picks it up to chew however and I am not sure why. The Monster Nylabones she loves but can't have because they have chicken flavor (yes even the Original version) so I'm kind of stuck. I hope she'll start to use with bone more in time. It is durable I will say that. For reference my dog is a 3 year old 67 pound female GS.

  • Great for heavy chewers

    By on

My 75lbs pit/German Sheppard mix loves this toy. He has such a powerful jaw but this has held up, it's smaller than I thought but he doesn't mind at all. The only other item that has lasted more than a week is the deer antlers but those get expensive and he has not put this toy down since we bought it

  • My Dog Loves It

    By on

My dog is a mixed breed of Havanese and Corgi, and although he's a small dog, he has a very strong bite. As soon as I gave him this chew toy, he went to town chewing, and didn't stop for hours. This is one of the best chew toys I have purchased. I definitely recommend and will be buying several more.

  • Constant Companion

Gracie, English Springer Spaniel, is a voracious chewer. Her veterinarian recommended the Nylabone as the best product for her to chew on all the time without damaging her teeth. It is her favorite of all the toys in her toy box. I actually credit the Nylabone with keeping her teeth in such good shape. She hasn't had to have her teeth done since we started buying them for her over six years ago.

  • Super tough

This chew was a little over kill for my dogs. They did not care for how hard this bone was. If you have a really strong chewer that likes hard chews I would recommend this. It also has an interesting shape and is easy for the dog to hold and chew.

  • Pup says, "Meh"

    By on

As a lover of peanut butter and a huge fan of the original Nyla, my pup was unimpressed by this chewy toy. The size is good for a medium-sized dog; too bad he didn't like the flavor.

Our giant sized puppy horse loves this best. I have not tried it myself but I imagine it must taste like peanut butter bc this is her preferred chewy bone

  • A Good Toy For a Strong Chewer

    By on

My 8 month old rescue can really chew! She destroys stuffed toys (the good kind!) by opening the seams and removing the stuffing in a matter of minutes. Our home is littered with the "pelts of these dead animals". So I went to toys like this one that can't be eaten up! She likes this Nylabone and it has many chew marks on one end. For some reason she holds the rounded end and chews on the other side. It is pretty ruffed up but I don't think she can destroy it! It was a good purchase for a dog that needs to chew!
