  • Fun Toy for my fur babies!

    By on

I buy my two fur babies these types of chewy toys because it keeps them distracted and helps their teeth as well. The toys lasts and I am so glad because both of my fur babies are pitbulls and medium dogs, so not many toys last forever. However, these toys they love and helps their anxiety that they encounter sometimes. They are both rescues so sometimes they struggle, however, these toys are very cool and have a flavor. So Neat! Plus, the brand Nylabone digests well in the doggy's tummy, so it won't make them puke. One of my dogs puked from chewing from other brands, so when we tried this, he has never got sick from it. So YAY!!!! Totally Recommend the toy and the brand!

  • Great Concept.. but easily forgotten

Purchased this bone & another Nylabone for our 7 month old lab Luna. She has suffered with separation anxiety and barrier anxiety since we got her so I can not kennel or cage her anymore for safety concerns. She has free range in the house during the weekdays while I work (5 hours max) and has done pretty well. I have purchased her a few treat balls and interactive things to keep her busy as well as leaving the tv on for her while I am gone. Recently she seems to be getting bored during the day b/c she has done some destructive chewing on items such as my $1400 leather couch, a few shoes and whatever I miss while cleaning up every morning before I leave ;) I read reviews and thought these Purchased this bone & another Nylabone for our 7 month old lab Luna. She could chew and not destroy them. Well my girl must be pretty smart b/c she wants nothing to do with either one of them. She showed interest for maybe 10 minutes the first time I gave them to her, since then I don't think she's touched them :( Guess it's on to searching for something different that is safe to leave her with during the day and will also help keep her busy. … more

  • Suddenly enthusiastic!

    By on

A veterinarian friend recommended this Nylabone for our German shepherd. When I unwrapped it and put it on the floor, Luna totally ignored it for two days. On the third day, just before this friend was due for a visit, Luna gave it a sniff and began chewing. Several times a day she'll chew on it for a while. It is challenging enough that it won't be gone any time soon and I like the fact that it is something recommended by a veterinarian I trust.

  • Little chewer loves these!

    By on

My little Lexi is a smaller dog but a VERY HEAVY CHEWER. She manages to eat a lot of bones that are meant for heavy chewers so I have to take them away from her. Even as a pup, I have to give her the ones meant for adult dogs. She loves this bone and another one of these shaped like a dinosaur. These bones have held up very well and she hasn't managed to eat it.

  • i mean it was okay

dog didn't care for it too much (but that's not durachew's problem) and it tastes like plastic, not bacon. there's nothing flavoured about it. it's just a normal plastic bone. if your dog likes that then give this a go, it's cheap anyways...

  • puppy pitbull's mom's dream

    By on

I bought this toy after reading many reviews via the internet. These are either #2 or #3 on all websites for recommended chew toys for pitbulls, especially puppies. I have had it for two weeks and my puppy has barely made a dent in it. Great toy! Long lasting!

  • Great for 60lb +

I always buy these at local brick & mortor stores, but since I already order food, I wanted to check out the prices. Much more affordable! With 2 big dogs any savings counts for durable toys.

  • Bacon chewbone

Got this unsure whether it was safe or not for our new Puppy. She is a heavy chewer but we only feed her non-rawhide chews. This has been nice to have around even though she isn't a huge fan

  • Good nylon bone

    By on

My dog's go back and forth with this bone. Sometimes they like it, sometimes they dont. The only thing I don't like about it is that once it's been chewed on, everything sticks to it, hair, fuzz, etc.

  • Junk, not even bacon flavored.

    By on

I was curious, how can they make plastic bacon flavored? and how could it last? Before I gave it to my dogs I smelled it, zero smell. Got me more curious, so I decided to taste it and gave it a little lick (Ok, maybe I'm a little weird lol) no taste what so ever! I thought oh well, maybe they will like it. I said to them, you want a new toy? They got excited and start waging their tails... I threw it on the ground between them. They both ran to check it out.... They smelled it and Maddie picked it up for about a second then dropped it. Then they both looked at at me like, OK, wheres my toy? It sat there all night and they never touched it again.
