Nylabone DuraChew Dental Chew Dinosaur Dog Toy is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 859.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from These Things Are TOUGH This is our second DuraChew Dental Dinosaur Dog Toy - not that the first has worn out, but because two of our dogs were fighting over it! We now have the T Rex and the Stegosauraus. These things are very hard molded plastic with absolutely no give. Our Collie puppy, who is teething, chews on this all. The. Time. I think she likes it because it offers her teeth excellent resistance - they don't sink into the plastic, and there's absolutely no way they could puncture it. We've had the first one for four weeks, and though it sports definite chew marks, it's nowhere NEAR destroyed. The only reason I didn't give this five stars is because it hurts like h**l when you accidentally step on this spiky, dense plastic toy!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from WISH WE COULD CHOOSE!!!!! It says the dimensions are 6 x 2.8 x 2.8 inches for the "Giant". I'm Sure the T-Rex or the Stegosaurus would have been fine, Unfortunately I got he Brontosaurs. The neck and tail area are barely 1/3 of an inch and my dog chewed right through them - the other two are are a nice solid piece, more suitable for a large dog as the "Giant" label implies. This was a waste of money, though my dog loved it for the 30 minutes it lasted before he chewed through part of it (and we're talking a standard poodle here - not some giant breed or a pitbul) . I have NEVER had a dog chew through a durachew nylabone product before! It's unfortunate that you aren't given the option to choose which of the three dino's you get. Why not? Not being able to choose a color is one thing but when certain dimensions are stated and you don't get THOSE size dimensions resulting in an unfit product, that's not OK. The bronto would be fine for a smaller dog as it CERTAINLY IS NOT GIANT by ANY means. I couldn't tell from the picture how small the product really was. As I can't choose, I will not be buying this product again - would LOVED to have had the T-Rex or Stegosaurus and so would my dog - I'm sure it would be in his mouth right now. Will be sticking with the classic nylabone products from now on which I have never been disappointed with

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Eh, not great, but I made it work! My westie puppy loves to chew, but he didn't really have a lot of interest in this. It's hard plastic with "little teeth." I re-purposed this toy by smearing peanut butter on it and using it as a treat to occupy him. It takes awhile for him to lick the peanut butter off from all those little teeth in the dinosaur. When he's done and I am ready to clean it - I just used an old toothbrush and it did the trick! So now this is his "peanut butter dino" and he LOVES it. LoL

Rated 5 out of 5 by from wonderful for teething and healthy gums the policy of this company is beyond any other.I recently ordered a new crate not realizing I already had an extra one. I called to ask their return policy and I was told" We will refund your money..you donate the crate to shelter" Now who would not want to do business with this company? I did donate the crate today... Thank you Chewy

Rated 4 out of 5 by from 24/7 Chewer This chew toy is great for strong chewers (have a 1 yo golden retriever). My dog loves nothing more than chewing on bones, and this toy provides him with endless entertainment throughout the day. It is very durable and provides good gum stimulation. The bone must not be as strongly flavored as the Benebone because he still prefers the Benebone to it. I, however, prefer this to the Benebone because it seems more durable and costs less. My dog also cant break off tiny pieces like he does with the Benebone, which I am thankful for. Love this product!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from If you have an average chewer... This did not hold up for my dog's heavy chewing but if you have an average chewer it may work better. Layla is a very heavy chewer and really went to town on this dino. She was trying to pull pieces off and that caused me great concern as she has a sensitive stomach since flipping it 3.5 years ago. I imagine if your dog is a less vigorous chewer or has a steel stomach it may be the appropriate chew toy. She loved the shape because it was easy to grab and obviously the flavor was perfect. I recommend for average chewers...

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not for truly aggressive chewers I saw that the reviews were mixed as far as how this held up to tough chewers, so I decided to try it for myself while it was on sale. My corgi had this for 5 minutes today, and she had already swallowed some of the tiny pieces she chewed off. Also, there was a tiny spot of blood on it when I got it away from her. It's too hard on the gums, and I am sure that had she ingested enough of the flakes, she would have vomited. My chihuahua-lab mix is just as aggressive, so I don't think I'll be giving him a test run with it. Definitely for puppies and light to moderate chewers only. Truly aggressive chewer recommendations: We are having really good luck with the Barkworthies Elk Antlers. These seem to last the longest for the value (5.99 apiece for the medium 5-7 inch, good width). Other than toys with treats in them, they are my pups' #1 preference. As far as toys made from inorganic materials, the ones that have held up best are any of the Starmark toys, and the extreme strength Kongs.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from too small i bought these based on picture and the breed recommendation in the description. Description says for large breed dog. i have a 45 lb and 65lb... the packaging small print says up to 50 lbs and I am concerned that the skinnier parts will be broken in a matter of minutes. In what world is under 50 lbs a large breed dog?!? Also, the picture shows a trex and i got a brontosaurus... donating to a local rescue so they won't go to waste... would recommend they change their description
