  • Keeps my pup busy!

    By on

I got this mainly because of the price and the other treat ball was difficult for my dog to get the treats out. This one works extremely well, as long as the treats are not too big or else they get stuck in the dispensing hole. I've learned to break up the Zuke's cookies I put in there along with other smaller treats. With the other ball, he would eat what he could then wait for me to come home from work before he could get the rest out. With this, he can push it around whenever he feels like it and get a treat out (so long as he doesn't push it under a shelf) and he actually teases me with it when I'm home. He'll drop it and let me get near it then pick it up in his mouth and run off with it I got this mainly because of the price and the other treat ball was difficult for my dog to get the treats out. It does the job; it keeps him occupied while I'm at work. … more

  • Great Busy Toy

    By on

This was the first toy I got for my few month old puppy (Belgian Malinois) and it was how I fed him for the longest time. It makes them think a little; they have to nose it along the floor and the food/treat will fall out. Today, he is just shy of two years old and he still loves when I fill it up with his food or treats. True, he does not really play with it as a ball, but it is one of the few toys that have stood the test of time, and he still loves it.

  • Not A Great Design

    By on

We have a number of treat dispensing toys. This is by far my least favorite. I have Malinois. They are good at figuring out toys and puzzles, but the design of this toy is super stingy. There is a long tube on the inside of the opening that tends to trap the treats no matter how diligently my dogs try to get them. I even have trouble getting the last few out myself to clean it. Maybe I got a defective one, but I can't recommend it unless you like seeing your dog super frustrated.

  • Treats get stuck

    By on

I'm not sure what treats to put in here. All the small treats I put in this ball can't come out. I can't even get them out. How do I expect my dog to get them out. There is a lip inside to make it harder for treats to come out but they just get stuck. Great concept. But my pit loses interest very quickly since the treats don't come out at all.

  • Fun Toy for a Goldendoodle pup!

    By on Top 1000 Contributor

My Goldendoodle puppy loves this toy, but she does not get the purpose for it yet. She would rather play fetch with it and does not even notice when the treats pop out. I think she'll get the hang of it when she's older. The little dents in the ball are great, it challenges her to get a good grip on the ball and I can tell she is learning something from the process. My roommate has a six month old Lab, and he knows what this ball is for and has a lot of fun getting the treats out. It's the perfect distraction toy!

  • Fun Toy, Not Durable

    By on

My dog LOVED this toy so much that he carried it everywhere with him. He even sat in front of our garbage can and cried when I threw it away. My dog really liked the round divots in the ball because it was easier for him to carry around. I should have taken the ball away from my dog when he was done playing with it because he chewed a hole where you put the treats in, to get to them faster.

  • nice treat ball

    By on

IT is a nice treat ball . The dog likes it now she wasn't to thrilled before because several treats were left in and couldn't get them out. Now she leaves it alone when she has all the treats she can get.

  • Food motivated pup loves it

    By on

My dog is extremely food motivated, so much so that he has almost zero interest in toys that don't dispense treats. So he's got about 10 toys that you can stuff with treats. This one is great because he can roll it around, and the soft plastic isn't really loud on the tile floor or when it bumps into the walls like his other treat ball. He's not a big chewer, so it stands up to his gnawing. I usually put a variety of treats (small and large) so that they come out at different rates. Pretty basic toy, but definitely keeps him busy!

  • Great for fast eaters!

    By on

I can't speak to the strength of the ball for dogs that like chewing, but my pup inhales her food and this is the easiest way to keep her occupied. It dispenses her (fairly large) kibble fast enough to keep her interested, but not as fast as a few similar toys. She rolls it allll over the house across tile, hardwood, and carpet, and it's so quiet!

  • Love this toy!

    By on

I bought this toy because I have a 10 1/2 yr old dog and a 8 mo old puppy and there was no "Love Match" between the two. This toy has bonded them and they work together to get the treats out of the ball.
