Rated 4 out of 5 by DMichi A little difficult for small dog food, but that might just be us!
I like it, definitely. My dog is a food gobbler and for a while we've been using the Kong Wobbler, but not only did he learn how to pop those open, but he chews through them pretty quickly, so I was looking for something more durable, at the very least.
This toy is good! He can't pop it open, and it's a ball. He immediately took to it. It has a long tube in it though (he's a medium dog, so I got the large) that made it really difficult to get his food out, and he's not really the "solve the puzzle for food" type so he would often give up, but I cut that out to make it easier and it's been good! Other plusses - he loves to play with it even when empty, because he can roll it and bounce it (without killing our floor lol), and he can roll it and bounce it without killing our floor! It's so quiet compared to the wobbler, too.
Warning it has a weird sweet smell, probably to be more enticing to dogs. I didn't deduct a star for it, though - I just think it's a little surprising lol

Rated 5 out of 5 by DianeM1203 Best ball ever
Our dog, Phoebe, is a 3 year old Springer Spaniel who loves balls but eats them. This Omega Paw Trick Treat Ball has turned out to be her favorite toy ever! We put in small treats and she tosses it all around to flip them out! Takes her some time, rolling it all around, as well. When it's empty, she walks over to us, barks, and we put in a few more. It is funny as can be. My two step-daughters want one for each of their dogs which I will get on my next purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by NeonDragonfly Has a second small hole
For those of you that don't know, whenever you buy any type of toy or treat dispenser for your dog that has a hole in it, is is extremely important that it has a second hole somewhere else to release suction for the dogs' safety. Toys or dispensers that have only one hole can create a dangerous suction on your dog's tongue that can lead to serious injury or death (you can google "dog toy single opening danger" to read about several cases and more info on this topic).
Luckily this toy DOES have a second opening (a tiny, 1-2 millimeter hole on the opposite end) so that's great.
Now for the usability of the product itself: it's a great little dispenser. I use it for my 5 month-old malinois/boxer puppy's lunch and dinner daily. The medium holds about half a cup worth of kibble (you have to fill it a little at a time and shake it in between to get it nice and packed). The kibble that doesn't fit i just put in a bowl for him. It keeps my puppy busy and it's nice to make his meals more interactive. He can get almost all the kibble out by himself (usually there's only a piece or two left by the time he's done).
As for durability; my dog has never sat there and tried to chew this ball so i expect it to last a good long while. If your dog is an aggressive chewer however, I would think it can get easily destroyed as the material it's made of is relatively soft and flexible.

Rated 1 out of 5 by williampicante Not for chewers
As a few others have mentioned, this is not for moderate to strong chewers. Our mini goldendoodle chewed a hole through to the treats in about 3 minutes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by SkeetersMom The Chew Ball is one of the best yet for your dog.
My dog received one when he was just under 1 yr old. He still has it, uses it every night before bedtime for a snack and it is still in perfect shape. I ordered this new chew ball for a friends puppy. I think he will love it also and get a little exercise while using it. I say thank you for the fun my dog gets from his Chew Ball! Skeeter has now had his ball for 6 years and it is still good as new. A wonderful toy

Rated 5 out of 5 by Sabelson Great for a food crazy puppy
This is a great way to feed your food crazy dog. Our puppy ate so fast and was frantic at meal time so we tried this ball and it is perfect. He rolls it around getting piece by piece and he now eats slowly as it drops food around the kitchen floor. He loves the ball and it keeps him busy and happy. I'd highly recommend it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by jillmarie Dog loves it, thats all that matters
When I first opened this up I was alittle disappointed. But I added treats and gave it to my puppy. Honestly she doesnt care that its a treat dispenser. She didnt even notice that, I had to point out the treats to her when they fell out! She just loved the ball. I got the large one, she is about 22 lbs, so its a good size for her, she loves it. She carries it around with some difficulty, but she has fun carrying it around, chasing it, biting it, and just playing. Its her favorite ball! So while the treat dispensing aspect was ok, its a good heavy ball for roughing around.

Rated 4 out of 5 by SamMoe Long lasting play time
My 50lb lab/hound LOVES when I put treats in this ball. We bought her the large size, and because of the pock marks in the ball she can pick it up with her mouth and throw it around the house. Usually 1-2 treats get stuck and she will work on that for a while. My only complaint is that it doesn't open anywhere so treats that don't come out easily can get left in there for days or weeks.
