  • Great Distraction for awhile

    By on

We have a 7 month old German shepherd who is a very active and inquisitive boy. We have been trying to find products to keep him busy and occupied on his own for awhile. This ball works great for as long as the treats come out. Once he is not able to get the food out easily, he gets bored and then wants us to play with him again. But he has not destroyed the ball and will go back and roll it around periodically looking for a treat. It would be nice if he was able to stay interested in it longer, but it is still good for him to figure out how to get the treat.

  • Fun for the pups and funny to watch!

    By on

Our pups weren't sure what to do with this at first. They didn't understand why we weren't throwing the ball. When one finally started to roll it they caught on quickly. Surprise! We use their regular dry dog food as the surprise. I'm going up one size though as they constantly push it under the furniture. Not sure if they are teaching us to play fetch or what! It's durable and fun! Keeps them occupied for a while!

  • BEST TOY EVER

    By on

Of all our toys, this is our dog's absolute favorite (and mine). It keeps her occupied and interested like no other toy we have found. I've used multiple types of treats and her dog food in it and we haven't had any issues. She can be rough on toys but has never eaten through this one. She has a sensitive tummy so instead of treats I fill it with some of her food. She can play forever rolling it sound and bouncing it to get the "treats" out.

  • Too hard for my 8 yo dog

    By on

Our dog loves her Kongs, but this was too tricky for her. When I tried to demonstrate how the ball worked, even I had difficulty getting the treats out. She soon took to trying to bite her way through the ball to get to the treats and was able to bite a small piece off before I took it away. This is a well-made toy, but just didn't work out for us. Chewy's customer service was great and refunded me the price of the ball.

  • Overwhelming Perfume Smell

    By on

I am sure my dog would love this toy, if she could use it. The ball reeks of fragrance, which can trigger my asthma. The smell is so strong, I can smell it from across the room. I have been soaking the ball in baking soda, trying to get rid of the stink. We do not need toxic fragrance in every product we use, and we surely do not need it on our pet toys.

  • Treat Ball

    By on Top 1000 Contributor

The lip on the well is way too deep and hardly lets anything out at all. There is no "escape hatch" for people to remove left-in treats so they get moldy and you have to throw the whole ball out. It's great if you only use it just as a ball, but anything larger than the tiniest bits of kibble will be trapped in there forever.

  • Tricky Treat Ball

    By on

I was very disappointed with the product. It did not look anything like the picture on facebook. It does look like the plane orange ball shown here but the item on facebook was black with a colored opening (blue I think) on it. That made it look much more substantial and complicated than the product I received.

  • Zoe LOVES This!

    By on Top 250 Contributor

Zoe will not eat her food unless it's in the ball! She pushes it with her nose and when the mini-nibs come out she stops and eats them and this goes on and on until she's eaten all of her dinner! Unfortunately, I got the small one and it rolls under the furniture so I recommend that even for a small dog, like mine, you get the large size because even if they want to carry it they can pick it up with the little dimples all over the ball. It's great fun to watch your puppy eat with this Treat Ball!

  • Red FoodBall

    By on

My 19 month old Bernese Mt Dog has used one of these for kibble meals since I've had him. It engages his brain to get his food and he loves it. Sadly, I left the original at a vacation spot a few months ago...thus, this replacement. It's a great way to keep a dog enthusiastic, busy, and fed.

  • Love this!

    By on

This ball is a lifesaver for our active dog. She gets the crazies in the evening and we can fill this up with cereal or a small low calorie treat and she will push it all over the house. We have 2 of them just in case we can't find one. Definitely recommend!
