I spend a lot of time training my pit so he gets a lot of little treats during training. I use many different types I get from pet stores and try to mix them together to keep it interesting since he doesn't know what to expect. Yet he seems to have lost the excitement for those treats overtime. This Orijen product brought back his excitement to learn since he loves it so much. Kibble size and soft texture is perfect for training without breaking the flow, its whole prey diet, low calorie, and the ingredients tells for itself. The Orijen treats are extremely high value treats to him and he will think, work and listen super hard to get it. What more to ask for?? Lower price?? Remember that you will only get what you pay for. The lamb and the duck will last longer than expected due to the smaller size. If you are training, be sure to mix in some regular treats so they will keep on trying to get the ""special one time to time.""

Rated 5 out of 5 by 1AussieLover Healthy treat that compliments Orijen foods.
My puppy is very picky and delays eating anything until after she has smelled and briefly tasted. At first she spat it out and gave it a good sniff and decided it was worthy of her picky palette. Well worth every penny. Give it a try and feel confident that you're feeding your fur baby the very best.

by plumberdan A terrific meal supplement for my Schnauzer
I am not a big fan of freely feeding expensive dog treats like this to my 9 month old mini schnauzer, Jake. Instead, I crush and mix one of these treats into his food bowl at every feeding. I happen to feed Jake an even mix of Orijen 6 Fish, Orijen Regional Red, and Orijen puppy dog foods twice a day with just one of these treats tossed in for flavor. Jake absolutely loves his meals now, and readily devours his food whereas before he would just look at his food and walk away. Can't imagine eating the exact same food each and every day myself, so I try to mix it up however one can with Jake, and these treats once crushed blend in very nicely with his dog food and create an instantly attractive meal for my little guy. It doesn't really matter which Orijen dog treat you buy to be honest, they all are rock solid in quality and IMO unmatched in the taste bud category. A bag of these contains about 60 Individual treats, so two treats a day will last about a month, and for the mathematically challenged people like myself, costs about 20 cents a day. I found out the hard way these treats are prone to drying out in a hot garage like mine, so do yourself a favor and keep these treats inside, preferably in the coolest part of your residence with the bag firmly closed. Bottom line is these treats are expensive. If Jake could talk however, he would probably say their worth every penny. I give this treat 5 stars for its simplicity to crush and its genuine healthy ingredients.

by james hands down one of the best trail treats
had to see what was all the hype about, price tag usually kept me away from the kibble but the treats seemed reasonable for the quality & amount you get.

perfect fat to protein ratio, chewys unbeatable prices and orijens reputation pushed me to bite
