Just Add Water
Now your dog can enjoy the texture, flavor and nutritional benefits of raw food without any of the mess or preparation. For your dog to enjoy Orijen's amazing fresh food flavors to the fullest, rehydrate freeze-dried foods by adding 1/4 cup (4 tbsp.) of warm water per medallion. Wait 3 to 6 minutes, then serve.
Whole Prey Foods
In the wild, dogs consume the whole animal to meet their full dietary needs, so Orijen recipes incorporate three whole prey elements in specific ratios.
Meat (70−85%) High meat inclusion means all amino acids are provided in natural form, without any synthetic supplements.
Edible Bone (5−10%) Bone, marrow and cartilage provide calcium, phosphorus, glucosamine and chondroitin without any artificial additives.
Organ Meat (10−15%) Fresh liver and tripe are richly nourishing sources of vitamins and minerals, including iron, zinc, and vitamins A, B and D.
Quality, Sustainable Ingredients
Orijen believes you have a right to know where the ingredients in your dog's food come from. From nest-laid eggs and wild northern pike to juicy orchard-grown apples and crisp garden greens, each ingredient is sourced from local producers they know and trust.
Orijen products are created by Champion Petfoods, an award-winning pet food maker whose mission is to make biologically appropriate dog and cat foods from fresh regional ingredients. The ingredients used in Orijen recipes are sustainably raised or caught in Canada by local ranchers, farmers and fishermen.

Picky eaterI have a 6 month old Wheaten Terrier. She has always been a picky eater and turns her nose up at most dog food -- especially anything from the grocery store. Wheaten FB pages told me about the Orijen brand and all about raw diets. This is the only brand of food of food I feed her. She eats it and nothing has upset her sensitive Wheatie stomach. Wheatens can be very stubborn about eating! She eats.

my dogs love it!My chihuahua started having siezures and stomach issues. I decided to stop giving him dog food from big name grocery store shelves because it was cheap. I went to a natural dog store in town and bought this for his dinner and raw food for his breakfast. Both of my dogs are crazy for their new foods. Even though I'm feeding them raw food in the morning that doest put them off of eating orijen! They practicly inhale it! I love how short and simple the ingredients are. My dogs have been healthy and full of energy. No more vomiting or seizures. My only complaint is rehydrating it. No matter how long it soaks is still got a weird texture. But honestly? My dogs wouldn't care if this was in powder form. As long as they can lick it up. I just break it info bite size pieces and call it a day. Something to consider is the food has a shelf life of 36 days after you open the bag. I would suggest buying a small bag for a small breed.

Lele's favorite! My dog loves this food. I have tried other dehydrated but like the way Orijen process to dehydrate better than Stella and Chewys. I add Orijen kibble to it as well. I think all dogs would love this. Price point may be high for multiple dog families or large dogs. My dog is 12 lbs so she gets a patty in am and pm.

My dog went nuts for this!Incredibly amazing ingredients that I can read and understand. This is the first time I've tried the freeze dried wafers that you add water to, and every time I grab for the bag my pup sees it and starts jumping up all over the place and wagging his tail in excitement. I've not gotten this intense of a reaction from him for meals! He absolutely LOVES it. We also break little pieces off to use as treats throughout the day. I usually break up small chunks of the wafers and mix it with his other kibbles that are previously pre-soaked for a few hours then I add hot water and let it sit a couple minutes and it ends up being a warm delicious meal! We use Orijen -six fish, Regional Red, & the Adult Dog kibble. He loves them all , and we like the variety he gets to eat different each meal. I'll continue ordering the freeze dried food!!

Product completely changed!I stated in another review saying that the biscuit has changed dramatically. Before you could feel the them being soft and moist as you crumple them into little pieces. You can even see the freshness in the coloring. All Orijen Freeze dry products are now extra hard, looking stale, feels like paper. I would recommend it but after changing factory to America, the product has gone down in my opinion. What happen to you guys?

Great dog food. My pups happyWe really love this food for our puppy. He eats it right up. What's even better is they have a freeZe dried food that you can crumble right on top and it makes it even more enjoyable for them. I took a long time finding a food for my puppy and I feel safe giving this one to him knowing that it's safe enough for human consumption and that the company itself won't even make wet food because that is not nutritious for dogs. Give it a try. It's worth it.

Not his favorite flavorLike so many others, I have a very picky eater. He will like a particular food for a day or two and then turn his nose up at it. I have been feeding him the Orijen brand of freeze-dried food for about a month now and he still loves it! Except for the Regional Red. It has a fishy smell even though fish is not an ingredient. I have managed to get him to eat it (by adding some chicken jerky), but it is not a flavor I will buy for him again.
