Rated 5 out of 5 by Tennessee15 Safest way to travel (car) with our beloved Bichon.
Sturdy crate with three entry/exit options. Not only is excellent for road trips, the "garage" door allows doggie to have his own "room" at home.
We are very pleased with this product and even purchased the large size for those times when long confinement is necessary. Crate can easily be moved from room to room.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Rhymeswithpizza Not well made, I returned it to Chewy.
The packaging was great, but the actual crate was extremely poor in design and construction. The latching mechanisms for the doors are poorly engineered and the two latches for securing the top actually came off during my initial set up. Even the printing for the logos looks like a small child was coloring outside of the lines. I honestly do not know how some people are giving this a good review. For me, I will go back to the simpler wire folding crates.

by 3furbabies Bed and Crate in one
I've searched long and hard for a crate that can be both a comfortable bed and a crate -- this is it! With 3 dogs, this means we get more space back in our house! We purchased the small size and it fits our largest (32 lb.) snug and she loves it.
My one reason for not giving it a five star is that one of the three crates has a sticky door... but not so bad that we wanted to return it, just a bit of jiggling to open/close.

by Mickey Defective Structure, False Durable Hardware
I loved this crate at the first sight. It looks very attractive and durable. Each doors have two heavy locks and seems well attached from the manufacturer. After I assembled the crate, and opened the side gate door for my puppy to get in. The top lock came off! I looked at it, and found the lock was attacked with a wood screw and only less than 1 cm into the plastic frame. No wonder some of the users have the same experience that found the lock came off so easily! This is a defective structure and gives customers false durable feeling of the unit. I think Pet Gear needs to recall their product. If I can, I will give ZERO star on the rating. See attach photo for the lock.

Rated 5 out of 5 by RonR Great Purchase for the Traveling Dog
This crate is excellent for people who travel with their dog. When folded and stored in the bag, it looks like a suitcase. The wheels are a wonderful convenience. It is a bit difficult to assemble and store the first time you do each, but once you get the hang of it, it takes only seconds. The pad is very plush, a bit large for the crate, but would rather it be a bit too big than too small. The only negative I have found thus far is the door locks are not very well secured to the crate itself. Very small flat head screws are used rather than a nut and bolt assembly with a nut on the inside of the crate. If I continue to have to tighten these, I will try to purchase nut and bolts sets to replace the screws, if anything that small is made. Let me add, this is not a reason to reduce my overall rating from 5 stars. All in all, this is a very nice unit and I would recommend it for purchase to a friend.

by Hedgie Overall a wonderful crate upgrade.
We've had a variety of crates over the years and were happy to find this attractive one on Chewy. The main drawbacks are assembly and gate release.
I tried to put the crate together by myself and it would have been easier with a partner. Every time I had one side in place the other would fall out of place. Once it was together, though, I really admired the look and functionality.
The other problem is latching the front door (only one I'm using). The sliding latches are stiff and the tab you must press is really, really tough to move. I'm hoping this will change over time. It isn't a huge problem, just a bit annoying.
This crate is tucked into a corner of our kitchen and our new puppy loves it, especially the raised edge of the pad where she rests her head.

Rated 3 out of 5 by showgirl1 Great Idea, but not a Great Product
Its Ok if you only want a crate for the house. Hard to open and close the plastic locks. Feels kinda chintzy and rattly and Im afraid I'll break the locks overtime as I open and try to close it. I bought this thinking I would take it to Shows, but its not easy to transport . This is a really good concept but they def need a redesign with better hardware. Its fine for rolling around the house. And the priced fairly at $117. They Plush pad included is nice. A great idea, but not a great crate.

Bought this for our new puppy who was escaping from her plain metal crate. We tried bungees, clips, ties, you name it. This new crate is awesome! It has so many doors you can put their crate any way and they can get out. The "garage" style door I think makes it less constricting to her and she now sleeps in her crate at night with the door open :) The plush pad IS removable. My ONLY complaint, and this is more of a personal thing: the latches are a bit stiff at first. The plastic is rigid (probably a good thing) but it took a little getting used to.
