Petmate Pearl Replendish Waterer With Microban, White is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 82.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect pet waterer with Microban bowl The charcoal filter and micro ban bowl assures the water stays clean and fresh. I refresh about every 4 days no matter how much is left. Make sure you take the plastic wrap off the filter and rinse it until the water runs clean. My husband who is a doctor is laughing at me because I don't understand how this waterer, with no moving parts, knows when to stop filling the bowl. But it does. He says it's a rule of physics, but trust me. When you fill it and turn it upside down it knows when to stop. Funny thing. I have a real skittish kitty. When she's done drinking the bowl refills and the bottle has a burp. Then she runs away. But she comes back. Excellent quality and price, but you have to buy the extra filters to change about every 6 wks. But it keeps the water clean and fresh. I think was $5.99 for 3. Kitty has been drinking more so I think this water tastes better with the filter. I have the 1 gallon. My kitty is 7 pounds, I read here larger animals can't get their head into the bowl with the smaller one, but this is perfect. I bought the one gallon, may get a second cat.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good for cats; maybe not dogs I found that the kitties are entertained to occasionally spin the entire thing around to hear the chugging sound when the water passes through the filter. The (SMALL) dog seems to not quite have enough room for his face to be near it and not splash everywhere when lapping. Would probably recommend a place mat of sorts underneath it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Auto Water Container I purchased this automatic water system and the cats love it. I purchased a PetMate auto water system in the past. The older version in my opinion the water bowl receptacle is bigger and it seems to be heavier construction. The newer version has a plus that I really like over the older version. You can actually get your hand inside the container to clean the bottle where the older version had an opening just large enough to fill the water. The newer version also has a filter which I don't need because I have filtered water throughout my home but the filter can be removed and the product still works. I just leave the filter in place. My one cat loves watching the bubbles and will actually tap the container to get them to come up. It's cute to watch her interest in it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Bowl is too small for my dog I was torn about this review. My dog was immediately drawn to the water. He's picky about his water (must be fresh) so I knew by his interest that it must have smelled good to him. When he started to drink, however, the top of his head touched the water bottle and that, then, was the end of that. He's not a large dog (Shih Tzu), but I had thought the 1 gal. size would be large enough. Obviously, I was wrong. On the whole, I do think this is a good product, but the bowl needs to be larger or separated a bit from the water bottle. I was thinking of ordering a larger size, but now that he's been spooked by this one, I doubt that he would drink from another one of this type.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fur babies drink more water than ever Simple set up, my Maltese and cat share from this and they drink more water because of it. I absolutely noticed a difference with how much more water they were drinking. I was specifically looking for this white color too so it would look cute in my room, perfect! :D They should put on the label how often you should change the water filter.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great I got 2 of these small waterers for my cats. One for upstairs and one for downstairs. You should practice filling it and getting the reservoir on an off at the sink. It was a little fiddly and the bowl part gets filled to the brim. If the reservoir isn't seated all the way, you could get overflow. Cats were a little hesitant to use it at first, but they got used to it really fast.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best buy Great quality for amount paid. These cost a lot more at big box stores. Chewy.com beats most prices on most pet products available.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product. I would include directions about the filter. I would really like to be sent directions on the filters. When we filled it we removed the plastic wrap and the water turned some what black from the filter. Was that the correct thing to do?
