In a 2 story house, elder kitties don't always like to have to go downstairs for a midnight snack. We keep this full in the master bath & it's a huge hit! Along with the matching water dispenser...

Rated 4 out of 5 by tsilvia Nice looking
I ordered this auto feeder to replace my old one. It looks really nice and goes great in my kitchen area. I bought the large one for my 2 chihuahua's and my english bulldog puppy. They all eat well from it. The only reason I gave a 4 star is because when the food gets low it does not slide far enough down into the bowl. I have to manually pull the food down to get bowl to fill up. My little dog will scratch at the bowl and wait for me to move food down since he won't eat that close to the place where the food comes out. The bowl is good size and definitely wide enough for a grown bulldogs face. The lid snaps on nice and tight and helps to keep the food fresh. It is also very easy to fill. Great product and fast shipping !!

Rated 4 out of 5 by kittenmommy minor flaw, but it shouldn't be there
this feeder, paired with my cats' water fountain, is great for when I go out of town for a couple of days. my issue with it, like others, is that the container has to be shaken to refill the bowl. now, this doesn't mean that the bowl will eventually run out while there's still a full top container; when food in the bowl is low enough, a little food from the top will drop in. I've also taken the liberty to teach my cats how to reach up and paw at the food so it will drop down. but even though I've found ways around this problem, the fact of the matter is it shouldn't be there in the first place. I'll be looking for a better gravity feeder, but as I'm only using it for when I leave them alone for a few days, it's not big on my priorties.

Only I wish the food would fall to the bottom of the dish on its own....
