Enjoy an Easier Walk with Your Pup

If your dog tends to pull on the leash, daily walks can be stressful for both of you. PetSafe's Gentle Leader Headcollar and Easy Walk Harness make the task of walking your dog an enjoyable experience. They give you immediate control and they're comfortable for your pet, unlike standard collars that can cause choking.

Enjoy an Easier Walk with Your Pup
Less Pulling, More Bonding

Less Pulling, More Bonding

Pet parents agree that the Easy Walk Harness makes such a difference that it's like walking a new dog. Instead of pulling your pup's neck, the Easy Walk redirects the entire torso. The leash connects at the chest with a Martingale loop, so a gentle tug moves her whole body in the direction you want to go. Less time playing tug-of-war means more time for bonding with your pet on your walks.

Uniquely Designed for Gentle Control

The Gentle Leader Headcollar puts you, not your eager walking buddy, in control of the walk. The nose loop redirects your dog's head toward you when she pulls. She'll quickly learn that she's not getting anywhere by pulling forward, and you'll have her full attention. The Gentle Leader is ideal for training dogs to heel and teaching them to walk on a leash without pulling.

Uniquely Designed for Gentle Control
Get the Perfect Fit

Get the Perfect Fit

Both the Gentle Leader and Easy Walk come in a variety of sizes to fit any dog comfortably.

The Easy Walk rests across the chest and wraps around the torso. If it looks like a sideways T, you'll know you have the proper fit. With four adjustment points and quick-snap buckles on the shoulder and belly straps, Easy Walk gives a reliable fit.

The Gentle Leader Headcollar slips securely over your dog's nose and sits high on her neck without putting pressure on her throat. It should form a V when fit properly, and your pup will still be able to eat and carry their favorite tennis ball along with them when wearing the Gentle Leader.

  • So glad I bought this harness!!!!!

    By on

I just got a boxer puppy a month and a half ago. She is 3 1/2 months old and I was having trouble walking her because she pulls so hard. She gets excited and wants to go ahead and pulls so it is not enjoyable. I bought the easy walk harness and all I have to say is wow what a difference! We took her for a hike and she wasn't pulling much at all. We were able to do almost a mile and it was really enjoyable. Last time with a collar we couldn't even hike for 5 mins. This harness is really really nice and I'm glad I bought it!!!!!!

  • Pet Safe Easy Walk Dog Harness Review

    By on

This harness is complicated for no reason. It has too many buckles and straps that can be adjusted. Your dog can still pull with any front harness but my dog actually came out of this one because his pulling caused some (one?) of the straps to loosen. I was using the Walk Your Dog With Love harness on my other dog and wanted to give a different one a try. Now I'll just be buying another one and chalking up the money I spent on this one as a loss.

  • Best Harness

    By on

This is the best harness I have found for walking with my 35lb hyper active/sensitive, undersocialized Border Collie. For her measurements I purchased a Med/Lg that in reailty seems a little large for my 16 month old girl. However, it apparently fits well enough that I'm now able to enjoy a brisk walk myself without her constantly pulling to reverse or forge ahead.

  • The results are like night and day!!!

I adopted a 2yr old pit/boxer mix about a year and a half ago and she was so challenging. She is so energetic and strong and she LOVES other dogs. These all make her the love of my life but they also make her impossible to take on walks. After about 6 months of walking her and ending up hurt and frustrated (she knocked over my sister by pulling her and gave her a concussion, oops!) we decided to stop taking her on walks. We have a big backyard so we just switched over to 30 minutes of engaged outdoor play per day but I always wished I could walk her. Even just taking her to the vet was so hard. I looked into training but the costs in our area were astronomical. I originally decided not to get I adopted a 2yr old pit/boxer mix about a year and a half ago and she was so challenging. I originally decided not to get a harness because I had heard from others that it actually encouraged pulling but as of last week, I decided to just go ahead and try it! Oh my goodness! It's like night and day with her! She is so good now! She tries to pull ahead when she sees squirrels and other dogs but is immediately stopped and I barely have to hold on to the leash for it to take effect! I'm so so happy with the easy walk harness and highly recommend it to fellow dog owners with similar problems! PS: I bought Moose a large but it is slightly too big. We're keeping it for now since she can't seem to wiggle out of it at all and I'm hopeful that it won't give her a rash but perhaps a medium/large would have been better for a dog her size (about 70lb pit mix). … more

  • Not for my dog

    By on

This harness has to fit perfectly. My golden doodle still pulled very hard when we used the easy walk. We tried 2 sizes to insure the proper fit. Neither worked. Although this may work on some breeds, it did not for us

This harness is a great way to redirect your dog's focus from pulling with a flat collar or standard harness to paying attention to their handler. We use them for our clients.

  • East to use

We adopted a dog with a healing wound from a previous harness. This is gentler on his shoulder and a breeze to get on and off. We will be buying one for our other beagle soon.

  • Doesn't really work

    By on

This design was recommended to us by a dog trainer. Our strong 80-pound dog manages to twist around the loop that goes to the leash and pulls ahead of us so we're still "leading" from behind. Easy to get on and off, but it doesn't seem really comfortable for him.

  • Amazing Halter

    By on

This harness is amazing! My 100lb dog, can't move me when he is wearing it. We were walking one morning and a coyote came out to see us. My dog went crazy trying to get at it. This harness held him, in one hand, not a problem. Have recommended these to all the dog people I know, and will always continue to do so.

  • Walking is so much easier.

    By on

I purchased this harness after using another one for a few years. Omg, what a difference to use this one. My goldendoodle now walks beside me and isn't fighting to walk faster than I want to walk. i was a little worried about the sizing but it worked out.
