  • Martingale loop at chest prevents twisting, 4 adjustment points provide maximum comfort and reliable fit
  • Ideal for training dogs to walk nicely on a leash
  • Chest strap rests across your dog's chest instead of putting pressure on the delicate throat, so there's no choking or gagging

Enjoy an Easier Walk with Your Pup

If your dog tends to pull on the leash, daily walks can be stressful for both of you. PetSafe's Gentle Leader Headcollar and Easy Walk Harness make the task of walking your dog an enjoyable experience. They give you immediate control and they're comfortable for your pet, unlike standard collars that can cause choking.

Enjoy an Easier Walk with Your Pup
Less Pulling, More Bonding

Less Pulling, More Bonding

Pet parents agree that the Easy Walk Harness makes such a difference that it's like walking a new dog. Instead of pulling your pup's neck, the Easy Walk redirects the entire torso. The leash connects at the chest with a Martingale loop, so a gentle tug moves her whole body in the direction you want to go. Less time playing tug-of-war means more time for bonding with your pet on your walks.

Uniquely Designed for Gentle Control

The Gentle Leader Headcollar puts you, not your eager walking buddy, in control of the walk. The nose loop redirects your dog's head toward you when she pulls. She'll quickly learn that she's not getting anywhere by pulling forward, and you'll have her full attention. The Gentle Leader is ideal for training dogs to heel and teaching them to walk on a leash without pulling.

Uniquely Designed for Gentle Control
Get the Perfect Fit

Get the Perfect Fit

Both the Gentle Leader and Easy Walk come in a variety of sizes to fit any dog comfortably.

The Easy Walk rests across the chest and wraps around the torso. If it looks like a sideways T, you'll know you have the proper fit. With four adjustment points and quick-snap buckles on the shoulder and belly straps, Easy Walk gives a reliable fit.

The Gentle Leader Headcollar slips securely over your dog's nose and sits high on her neck without putting pressure on her throat. It should form a V when fit properly, and your pup will still be able to eat and carry their favorite tennis ball along with them when wearing the Gentle Leader.

I walk a few dogs on my days off from school and one of them is a puller, she pulls me the whole time we are on our walk and it really hurts my arm. I had this harness for my golden when he was younger and it worked pretty well, so I bought another one to fit her. It does it's job for the most part but the harness keeps slipping from behind her shoulders to her neck and I'm fearful it'll slip off since it starts to loosen when it moves from her shoulders to her neck. I don't know if I have it on wrong or if it's because she's quite chunky and she doesn't really have shoulders to keep the harness in place. Looks like I'll have to figure out another way to stop her pulling. … more

  • Easy walk dog harness

We have a 10 month old Rhodesian Ridgeback puppy and needed a little help with training her during walks. Ridgebacks tend to cross cross in front of you when walking, so our trainer recommended this type harness to help with the heel Command. I was skeptical at first but now, I'm a believer. It is easier using a 2 foot leash and this harness. Both help with quick corrections.

  • Great Harness

    By on

This harness is great. It works best with a collar and both are hooked to the leash. I have an 80 lb Pit Bull that I could never walk and with this harness and collar it's possible. Makes me very happy. Just wish I did this years ago with my other dogs. It would have saved me a lot of body aches.

I have a Labrador dog. He is only a year old and weights 85 lbs. I was having a real hard time walking him because every time he saw a dog or kids he will pull me. It got so bad I could not walk him any more. A friend of mine told me about this. and it is GREAT!! highly recommend it! I love walking my dog again!

  • Life Changing

    By on

This harness has made life so much easier - my 10-month-old pup walks so much better and doesn't drag me along anymore. The only problem is that i bought the med/large transitional and wish i had gone with a straight medium as it seems to be a little to big for a "medium" sized dog.

The easy walk dog harness is great! With 2 full-size GSD's walks were not pleasant in the past. They are easy to put on for walks or trips out in public where I need to keep both dogs under control. The front clip is great for redirecting them every time they pull. If you make sure to spend time sizing and adjusting them correctly, the rubbing that other reviews comment about will not be an issue. The only flaw I have found is the under buckle is in the "armpit" on the right side if mostly expanded or would be on the left side if mostly tightened. I got size Large for both of my dogs and the buckle is in their armpits on the right side or just behind that shoulder, but I have not seen any rubbing The easy walk dog harness is great! • if the shoe fits...

Just seemed like no matter how hard I tried I couldn't get this to be comfortable on on my dog. We had a similar product for our Newfy before and it worked well but our new dog is much smaller, more narrow in the chest and after walking a bit he developed a sore spot under his arm.

Used this harness the first day it arrived. my dog and I went on a 4 mile walk. I previously had a "puppia" harness, which he would pull for the entire 4 miles. This harness did help stop the severe and constant pulling. Although he found a way to position himself in front of me, he wasn't able to pull ahead too much without being turned back around to face me. The cool thing about this harness is that when you tug on the leash, it pulls your dog's face towards you, so you remain the focus, which is very helpful with leash training. I think this harness would work best with a non-telescoping leash. It's easy enough to apply; kind of weird at first, but after the first one or two applications Used this harness the first day it arrived. my dog and I went on a 4 mile walk. I have two small dogs, one 5 lbs and the other 8 lbs. They both pull really hard when I walk them. I found this harness on your site. I'll try any thing. These harnesses were a God send to me. The dogs now walk closer to me and listen better to the commands that I give. Thanks

  • Works like a charm!

My lab/shepherd mix is 7, the first four years I had her she was a monster to walk. After many frustrating walks I decided there had to be an easier way. I researched products to help and decided to try the Easy Walk. Wow!!!! She walks right beside me now, it has been three years. I just got one for my beagle/terrier mix and he walks great, too!! Some things to know: 1. You do have to noodle with the straps a lot at first to get the buckles where they aren't jabbing armpits. However, once you do that, they stay put. 2. In my experience, you have to train your dog to walk with this harness. That consists of turning around every time they put a little pressure on the leash. In my experience, you have to train your dog to walk with this harness. That consists of turning around every time they put a little pressure on the leash. My first walk with the lab/shepherd in this harness took about a half-hour of constant turning around; we went about 20 yards. After that, she caught on and only needed a few reminders. Now she never needs reminding, she is right beside me with slack in the leash. I either read an article about training dogs to walk with this product, or watched a video; look for training tips online. 3. You will probably want a 4 ft. leash for this harness. I had to shorten my lab-mixs' 6 ft. leash and purchased a 4ft. for my other dog when I bought the harness. A six foot will drag all over the ground and constantly be in your dogs legs. 4. If your dog tries to back out of it at first, just take a step towards them. If your dog does get out, the shoulder and belly straps aren't tight enough. 5. After 3 years the lab/mix harness looks like new. I have washed it a few times, but it looks like I just took it out of the package. I don't think you'll be sorry if you purchase one; just be patient with your dog. It works great. Oh!! Once you have the buckles and straps all set, you only need to unhook the belly strap to put it on and take it off. It is the easiest harness to put on I have ever had for a dog. … more
