Enjoy an Easier Walk with Your Pup

If your dog tends to pull on the leash, daily walks can be stressful for both of you. PetSafe's Gentle Leader Headcollar and Easy Walk Harness make the task of walking your dog an enjoyable experience. They give you immediate control and they're comfortable for your pet, unlike standard collars that can cause choking.

Enjoy an Easier Walk with Your Pup
Less Pulling, More Bonding

Less Pulling, More Bonding

Pet parents agree that the Easy Walk Harness makes such a difference that it's like walking a new dog. Instead of pulling your pup's neck, the Easy Walk redirects the entire torso. The leash connects at the chest with a Martingale loop, so a gentle tug moves her whole body in the direction you want to go. Less time playing tug-of-war means more time for bonding with your pet on your walks.

Uniquely Designed for Gentle Control

The Gentle Leader Headcollar puts you, not your eager walking buddy, in control of the walk. The nose loop redirects your dog's head toward you when she pulls. She'll quickly learn that she's not getting anywhere by pulling forward, and you'll have her full attention. The Gentle Leader is ideal for training dogs to heel and teaching them to walk on a leash without pulling.

Uniquely Designed for Gentle Control
Get the Perfect Fit

Get the Perfect Fit

Both the Gentle Leader and Easy Walk come in a variety of sizes to fit any dog comfortably.

The Easy Walk rests across the chest and wraps around the torso. If it looks like a sideways T, you'll know you have the proper fit. With four adjustment points and quick-snap buckles on the shoulder and belly straps, Easy Walk gives a reliable fit.

The Gentle Leader Headcollar slips securely over your dog's nose and sits high on her neck without putting pressure on her throat. It should form a V when fit properly, and your pup will still be able to eat and carry their favorite tennis ball along with them when wearing the Gentle Leader.

Rated 4.5 out of 5 by 241 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Oh My!! First, let me say that I have a 45lb 4-month-old labradoodle, who pulls like a horse when walking. It's horrible! On a regular leash/collar, he would literally choke himself all the way down the road, even when offering treats to heel. I was so frustrated, we would stop walking and go home. I bought the gentle leader after hearing good things about it, but unfortunately, my dog did nothing more than try to paw it off his face or rub his face on the ground to get it off. Hearing about this product, I purchased this easy walk harness and it arrived yesterday. I put it on him (very easy) and off we went for a walk. I have NEVER had a more pleasant walk with my puppy! He tried to pull twice, but was quickly back at my side. I would have never believed it! We actually were able to walk over a mile and it was the most enjoyable experience ever! I am so happy! I'm sure my dog is happy too! I can't say enough good things about this product. I am shocked and amazed at how well it works. August 4, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by Not quite sold yet I rated this product at 3 stars simply because of the design. Otherwise, I would have given it 5 stars for doing what it claims. My only complaint is that once the harness is adjusted properly, it keeps slipping and becomes very loose by the end of the walk. I'm afraid he will get out of the harness before we make it back home. Sometimes I have to stop during the walk and re-adjust, but that's a pain when you're carrying bear mace, water for your dog and doggie waste bags. Too much hassle when your hands are full. HOWEVER, with that being said, it does work as far as pulling and keeping your dog where you want him. My dog walks right beside me with this harness. Before I was always reeling him back in or struggling with him. I wish that the design was better and it wouldn't keep getting loose. This is a safety concern for me. Huge design flaw, unless I just happened to receive a defective harness. September 10, 2016
Rated 2 out of 5 by Loosens easily Bought two of these for two very different dogs , a lab and King Charles, after adjusting it several times I finally got it to stay on my little lady but my lab kept working her way out, not as easy as I hoped October 28, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by It is difficult if not impossible to get this product to perform as illustrated in the pamphlet. It is a waste of moey. The slick, color pamphlet would have one believe that this harness is easy to use and that any dog will heel and walk easily next to its owner. this is far from the truth. The martingale connection on the front does not stay in place in the front and even a small amount of pulling pressure by the dog will pull the martingale to the dog's right or left shoulder depending on which side the owner is walking. Even when the all the straps are tightened (to the point of pinching the dogs skin) the martingale pulls to the side where the owner is walking. No amount of tightening will keep the martingale in the front. The straps are flimsy nylon and they simply do not hold the dog in place as they should. Nor do these flimsy straps keep the dog from pulling. Tis would be a waste of your money, as it has been a waste of mine. September 9, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Pawsome!! Love it! Ordered it for my 6 month old husky :) first time we tried it there was noooo pulling he walked right next to me! Never going on a walk with out the easy walk :) October 21, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great harness! My puppy walked me rather than me walking her. This harness is great because after the first few minutes, she started walking right along side of me, and now we both enjoy her walks. And with the cooler weather here, we are taking longer walks. October 18, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by Does not work on my 15 month old labrador I read the reviews and had already tried the pinch collar, and gentle leader. So I thought why not? After carefully reading the instructions I learned the proper way to attach it to my dog. I have owned it for a month now and I just returned from a walk. My shoulder is killing me after he tried to drag me through the streets. The leash attaches to the front of the harness and is supposed to deter him from pulling by redirecting him left or right. He could care less. Just yanks harder. I am disappointed. I liked the idea of not pulling on his next. The gentle leader has worked the best on him. Although he tries to rub it off. Rated 5 out of 5 by What a difference! My pug had a major problem pulling on the leash and she would lunge at cars or bicycles passing by. It was literally a pain the neck to walk her and was becoming dangerous because of her bad behavior. I had tried different conditioning techniques and nothing curbed her problematic leash behavior. Thankfully someone recommended this harness. There was an immediate improvement from the first time she wore it, no kidding! The fit is extremely important so be sure to measure your dog and follow the instructions on how to fit the harness on your dog's frame. She is still adjusting to it overall, and at times will refuse to walk because she is no longer able to pull (plus she's a stubborn pug). However, at first these refusals lasted quite long but now after a few weeks of consistent use, Patience to train her, and lots of positive reinforcement she is like a different dog. She no longer reacts to cars passing by or bikes! She is less anxious on the walk, I think knowing I'm in control, and is so much better behaved. She does not pull the leash at all and will patiently wait by my side if I stop for some reason during the walk. It's like a miracle. She may stop for a few seconds when she wants go somewhere off limits but quickly responds to my command to get moving and enjoys all the praise that follows. Follow the training guidelines and be patient with your pup if they go through an adjustment phase, this thing works. If your dog is anxious, like mine was about the tightening sensation, start with very short walks and let them walk around with the harness and lead in the house or yard to help them get acclimated in a comfortable way.
