I Rated 4 stars due to my dog getting pieces off within a hour of getting the toy. But she is a power chewer and a akita that is strong. She loves the toy its her favorite. I also like it due to it being made out of real wood that its softer than the nylone bones. She will eat anything and the little pieces she does get off are soft and tiny, I know she can pass them. Also saves me time as with this I can easily take the little lose pieces off myself in a min, were as the nylone bones I have to use a piece of sand paper to get the hard pieces off. Akita and dog mom approved.

Our big guy, Memphis, a 100lbs 9 month old Rottweiler can destroy just about any toy. But his favorite thing ever are sticks! He could spend the entire day outside gathering them from our wood line and chewing them in the yard. So there's nothing more amazing to him than a stick that he can have inside! Combine that with it being extremely durable and you have one happy pup! This guy destroys and chews through every toy! Kongs and nylabones don't stand a chance but he's has the first one of these that I bought for 3 months and it's still going strong! I've since bought him 2 more...one for his crate and one just Incase the other one ends up under the couch or something and they all are Our big guy, Memphis, a 100lbs 9 month old Rottweiler can destroy just about any toy. • Seemed Good

So got this for my 10 week old German shepherd. He was around 20lbs at the time. He kinda looked at it fiddled with it a bit but definitely not very interested in the toy. He never goes to it when I put it near him. Was really hoping it would be a toy he liked because it seems like a long lasting chew toy, but alas it is not very used :/ Just preference of the dog I guess

  • Suddenly Wonderful

    By on

I got my puppy one of these "sticks" because she eats mulch. When I first got this I she showed zero interest. It's been months (and one surgery to remove a chunk of mulch from her intestines) later, and suddenly she plays with this chew like crazy. It's her favorite chew. It took her five months to love it. My suggestion for others is not to throw the chew away if the dog isn't interested.

  • Pitmix loves it

    By on

My pitmix loves this chew toy. It is not her favorite toy in the world, but it is in her chewing rotation. This is good because she hasn't been able to destroy it yet. She chews on it for a period of time and it keeps her occupied without me having to worry about it falling apart. I got the largest one for her since she has a tendency to destroy all toys.

  • Good for chewers

    By on

We have a Bernese Mountain Dog that is a chewer. We got these to give her something to chew on other than shoes, slippers, and anything else she finds on low tables. She took to this right away. Keeps her occupied. If she seems to get bored with it, I can easily rub soft smelly 'treats' on it to make it attractive again.

  • Ms. Phoebe loves these

    By on

When Dogwoods were suggested as a safe chew toy for my dear corgi I was hesitant to give one to her. However, most of what I previously thought dog safe turned out not to be so I gave these a try. Well, Ms. Phoebe loves her Dogwood. She even protects it by hiding the stick under her dog bed cushion when it is not being gnawed on.

  • They last really well!

    By on

Brio, a two year old Shephard, has been chewing on these for over a year. There's very little mess (just a few crumbs that vacuum up easily) and he loves them. They don't stain carpet and stand up to really hard gnawing. No danger of chewing off pieces and swallowing them. An excellent product!

  • Puppy love

    By on

I bought this for my puppy that loves to chew on sticks out side. He loves it. Carries it around the house quite often and lays on the bed chewing on it. My much older dog has picked it up a couple of times and tried it out. He doesn’t usually chew on those kinds of items. As it wears down I am definitely buying another. Worth the money.

  • Highly recommended for power chewers

    By on

I do an autoship of dog food every four weeks so I like to include a toy in each autoship order to build up my dogs' toy inventory. However, my dogs both destroy toys so it is hard to find one that will hold up to them. I bought this toy with low expectations, especially for the very low price I paid for it. However, it holds up phenomenally to my dogs. Granted, my male isn't too fond of it. My female, however, adores it. I highly recommend this toy to any bull breed owner or anyone else ho has a dog who loves toys just a bit too much.
