  • Pathetically small for the price

    By on

I have a jack russell who loves antlers but after chewing on the same one for 3 years it was time for a replacement. The size in the picture is deceiving...it only lasted 2 weeks and then I had to throw it away.

  • Didn't hold up

    By on

Unfortunately, my golden chewed through it in a matter of minutes. Bummer, as I was hoping it would last much longer. Might be ok for a smaller & less aggressive chewer, but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone with a medium-large breed dog.

  • Good size, lots of marrow

    By on

My dog loves this thing. He's had it for weeks and the marrow inside is about half gone - I consider that a good thing since he plows through even the toughest Nylabones and everything else in mere hours or minutes.

  • Elk Antler

    By on

Very disappointed in this item. Not sure how they test these antlers for durability but this one started to split into pieces within 10 minutes. Had to throw it away. We've had other antlers from different stores and never had a problem. This company "Prairie Dog" needs better quality control.

  • Loved it as usual

    By on

Our Norwegian Elkhound Keira loves these bones. As a dog with IBD and VERY discerning tastes, she spends hours the first time she has a new one of these. They don't bother her stomach like rawhide chews, and I love they don't split or shatter like other bones.

  • Bloody? Antler...

    By on

I had to throw this out shortly after giving this to my dog... the marrow (if that is what it is called in an antler) on the chew I got was a dark red color and it was leaving stains on my carpet wherever she was chewing on it. Although the antlers on Chewy are much cheaper than in the stores, not being able to choose what you are actually getting makes the savings not worth it...

  • Well loved by our dog

    By on

We've bought a variety of antlers for our chewing monster as we do not let her have rawhide. This one isn't as large as I'd hoped for our 60 pound girl, but it is great quality and lasts a good while. This last one is cut differently than the last, which is expected as antler shapes vary. She does not like the "whole" antler, so the split with inside exposed is her preference. I'd recommend for hearty chewers, keeping size in mind size for smaller/ bigger dogs than ours may be a consideration. Wish I could attach a photo of her with it. No option for that feature.

  • Good as anything is my dreams

    By on

(Translated from dog to human) This was my first birthday gift. I was a stray and would have allowed myself to be caught much sooner had I known the things that humans give you just for getting older! They don't stain, and they taste really good and last a long time! Thanks for making them easy to buy!
