  • Great for aggressive chewers !

    By on

I have a 9 month old Standard Schnauzer pup. To say she is an aggressive chewer is an understatement! This little girl can take care of the extra large bully sticks before the football game is over - which is getting expensive. The antler was in her Christmas stocking - it gets hours of chewing a day and is still going strong - only some of the inner part is wearing down. She will still get other treats to chew but this has taken care of her chewing instincts.

  • Definitely NOT for Chewers

    By on

My Stanford Terrier loves the smell of the antler, even through the shipping box. Once I gave it to her, she quickly ate out the marrow and was breaking off pieces of the antler too! A worry for a forgein body surgery! I had to quickly grab it and toss it in he trash... the way the antler is sliced vertically and seemed to be smoked for flavoring, made it very porous and easy for a chewer to quickly destroy. The antler fragments easily broke off. I think if these were true antlers, being a deer hunter myself, the superior strength of a true antler would not have been this soft and breakable. It should have been an indestructible chew toy, especially for the price. I definitely don’t recommend My Stanford Terrier loves the smell of the antler, even through the shipping box. • Great chew, not as "jumbo" as expected

    By on

My Aussie LOVES antler chews, but goes through them very quickly. I saw that is one was "jumbo" sized and thought that maybe this one could last him a little longer than usual. When I go the chew, I was surprised to see that it wasn't as large as i thought it was going to be. The picture is a little misleading. Needless to say, my pup still loves it and chews on it.

  • Jumbo size is smaller than XL

    By on

We ordered a jumbo size bone for our Boerboel (105lbs and 10 months old) and I was assuming the jumbo was the largest bone available. The XL shows a size of 6-7", so I would figure the jumbo would be larger. The bone is the exact same length as my iPhone 6, just about 6". And she had the marrow chewed out of the bone in about 15 minutes, like it was cooked marrow that was very soft. Having a hard time finding a good bone.

  • Gone in a Flash

    By on

I have never seen my dogs go after an antler they way they did this one. Most of the antlers I buy will hang around for months, and the dogs will occasionally chew on them when they're bored with everything else. Not this one! They had it chewed down to a nub in three days.

  • Pup loves it!

    By on

My Nova loves these natural chews and so do I! She does better with the split style so she doesn't tear her gums up trying to get to the marrow. I also really like natural vs the other guys, I try to be as environmentally friendly as possible and having an option that's not rubber or plastic is awesome.

  • Go bigger for a heavy chewer...

    By on

I wanted to get a "split" antler because in the past my dogs have shown more interest in the antlers cut in HALF vs. the whole, due to them being able to get to the marrow easier. Well, I was under the impression that this was going to be cut in half, rather it was quartered. My dog, who's a whopping 28lbs, had the marrow cleaned off in around 20 mins. It was far too easy. Though this may be great value for the average dog, if you have a motivated chewer you will definitely want to spend a few more dollars or its a waste.

  • Perfect chew for my pup!

    By on

This split antler was perfect for my dog who has given up on whole antlers in the past. She never lost interest and she loved the marrow on the inside. This lasted my 60lb pup about a week and a half.

  • disappointed

    By on

I bought this for my dog after reading that it is about 8in. The one I received was under 6in. I thought since it was jumbo that it would be larger than this. She's a hard chewer so I don't think this will last very long. I'll be looking for a different antler from now on.

  • Best antler I've ordered

    By on

This is the third antler I have ordered for my Dutch/German Shepard mix and it was by far his favorite! My 11yo lab/pit mix who is not generally a chewer even tried to steal it from him. I will definitely be order in it again!
