Rated 3 out of 5 by RayS Decent enough for the price
If you need a quick, cheap solution to something, go for it. Perfect for your puppy who is crate training and you don't care that it gets trashed.
I wish I'd seen this but the wash instructions say LINE DRY ONLY. What?! Ugh, no. Line dry is for my delicates, not my dog's crate pad. -1 right out of the gate.
It is not thick at all. I had read some reviews and I bought up a size. In my "up to 55 lbs" crate, I have a large. The pad is big enough that I can fold it up in half so it provides some cushion. I suppose this could be a plus. For the cost, my puppy gets some cushioning AND a chew toy.
It seems to have held up in the wash, unlike some of the other reviewers I read. My "dots" haven't fallen off. The only falling apart has been because of a puppy deciding to chew the pad instead of her toy. Since then, I've given up on the line dry, and it's still together. Somehow. I'll probably buy another at some point down the line seeing as they're so cheap.

Rated 5 out of 5 by buddy This procuct has great features yes-our dog won't get off of it. BUT a No.
We did a chat session with Dominica of Chewy.com the other day-explained the following: The fibers are coming out and are all over the floor; we put in dryer and hoped for better--Not -still fiber coming out. It is like a blanket we had one time that made in China--the folks gave us a replacement made in USA and it was fine. We love all the other purchases from Chewy.com -the other bed mats we purchased do not shed. The Chewy folks are the best and the easiest to deal with --the shipping and orders always the best of any. We just can not put a YES on this as much as we like it because of the shedding of the fibers--like we said we will not send it back as our Black lab of 9 likes this as well or more than the other we have from Chewy. the liepes

I absolutely love this crate mat! I bought it for my Min Pin and He loves. Much better than towels since I can't vaccuum towels this works perfect because for long days I put him in a 36" crate with a litter box and the litter tracks so I can vaccumm it up. Thanks Chewy for quick shipping! This mat is so soft I could curl up and take a nap on it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by MaiLee Easy to wash
Washed pad in a regular washer with bleach and another towel. It did not shed any fibers at all. It also did not discolor because of the bleach. It is very soft and my dog loves it.
The pad came the when it said it would.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Flossie The doggie pad is just what we wanted.
The doggie pad is great and works perfectly for the dogs. It is a great color because it won't show the dirt and is washable. The dogs are very happy with it and that is what we want, happy little girls!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by Jen81 Good for intermittent use or travel...
I bought this mat for my 12 y/o miniature pinscher's travel kennel & it's just ok. Let's start w/ the positives. The mat is priced affordably, the faux fur (on top of the mat) is soft, & the tiny rubber dots (on the back of the mat) prevent it from slipping & sliding, in the kennel. As far, as the negatives go, I wish the manufacturer had used a padding w/ a little bit more density, in the core of the mat, & the little black gripper dots (on the back of the mat) didn't start coming off after just one wash. (Which, by the way, was done per the manufacturer's instructions.) Overall, I would say, the mat is worth buying, if it's not going to be used on a day-to-day basis. I only use this mat in my dog's travel kennel, so she can be more comfortable, when I need to take her to the vet or groomer. If you're in the market for such a mat, you're "barking up the right tree!"
