Rated 2 out of 5 by Debadoo57 Disappointed in this food for many reasons. :(
I have 2 wonderfully sweet indoor dogs. One is a 10 yr. old boxer/pit mix and weighs approx. 90 lbs and the other is a 3 yr. old coon hound that weighs approx 50 lbs.
They both had been eating Neutro Large Breed dry food for several yrs. and have had no problems. I read about Purina Pro Plan Sensitive Skin and Stomach and thought I would give it a try because the ingredients sounded really good and it was a bit cheaper than the Neutro. They have been eating this food for 5 weeks and I am very disappointed by the results. The boxer/pit has had diarrhea for almost 2 weeks and whines at the door to go out and eat grass about once a week. Both of the dogs now have bad smelling gas. The coon hound has been excessively shedding daily. I have to vacuum (not just swiffer) each day due to the amount of shedding on the harwood floors. Both of the dogs like the food, but seem to be hungry just hours after eating.
What a disappointment in this food, especially due to it being formulated for sensitive skin and stomachs.
I am switching back to Neutro, today!

Rated 4 out of 5 by BaNaHa Love the food, hate that they raised the price 25%!
This food has worked really well for my 1 1/2 year old Labrador. She has a very sensitive stomach, skin allergies, and had a lot of problems with urinary infections. I tried so many brands - TOTW, Blue Buffalo, and a regular purina pro plan for large breads all of them giving her some kind of issue. I was very excited when I came across the sensitive stomach and skin formula, I had finally found something that worked! As great as the food is I am a little disappointed in the changes the company has made in the past month.. Not only have they taken 3 pounds off the bag size but they have raise the price by 25% it is now priced more in line with high end dog foods. If my dog was not so picky/sensitive I would try switching her but since she is we are stuck using this because it works.. just hope they don't keep raising their prices.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Cavalier23 Price and package change
The product itself is wonderful. My dogs all do well on it and we have beautiful shiny cost and great weights. I chose go feed this to my show dogs based on these results.
However, now the package is 3 pounds less and still $41. So more money for less food. I will be researching another product. Very unhappy about this change

Rated 4 out of 5 by Cherie53 This product is good for my dog
My dog is a 12 yr old lab who has the bad habit of eating socks, sticks, compost, etc (most of which he returns at 4 am) but he also has a sensitive stomach when it comes to his food. I tried several brands before coming across purina sensitive skin and stomach formula. He loves it and has a nice coat...and no tummy troubles.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Huskymomma Love it!!
We have two huskies and we have tried alot of different foods on them because of their sensitive stomachs, but most would give them diarrhea or they would refuse to eat all together because it would hurt their tummies. A dear friend of my mine introduced us to this kind about 4yrs ago and this is the ONLY food they will eat now. It is certainly the only kind we will purchase for them from now on.

Rated 4 out of 5 by travels purina pro plan
They are changing the formula again.. they are adding eggs, which are from chickens and most dogs are allergic to chicken and chicken products..
They should know better to add this to a dog food that has sensitive skin and stomach. If the go through with the change I will not be able to feed it to my dogs..

Rated 1 out of 5 by Newfmom12 price increas
LOVE the way they say Purina is going thru some package changes. Look closer folks, they went from 33 pounds to 30. Still 42.00 dollars BUT you are getting 3 pounds less per bag. I am looking to change food. I have shown Newfoundlands and fed Pro Plan for about 12 years. Not at all happy about this "sneaky" package change.
