Rated 5 out of 5 by Lauren16 Wonderful for sensitive stomachs
Finally, a food our dog can eat! This is the food our Terrier mix was on at the spca when we rescued him, but due to the price ($25 for a 6lb bag at the vet) we tried switching him over to a couple different types trying to save some money (Orijens, Blue Buffalo, etc...) but once we got the food mix to 50/50 he wouldn't be able to keep it down. Then all of a sudden one day he started shaking uncontrollably. I immediately took him to our local vet and she diagnosed a "sensitive stomach." So we bought him another $25 bag - better that than a sick dog! (Plus he barely sheds at all now, his coat is beautiful , and he has so much more energy!) As soon as I got home I checked Chewy.com and sure enough they had it at a MUCH cheaper price. I'll never go elsewhere for my doggy needs. Thanks Chewy for such great customer service & working with me to find a food he could eat without breaking the bank. Oh, and they even allowed me to donate the old food to a shelter & receive a complete refund!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Sharon Best Website Service and Products Ever!
My mixed Lab came to my home as a stray about 2 1/2 years ago, during a winter snow storm. She was a bit on the poor side, but overall seemed in good health. Once I decided to take her in, had her fixed, Heartworm Treatments, and all vaccinations, she seemed to be on a road to excellent health. However, after about a year or so, developed a bad case of pancreatitis and almost died. Her vet recommended Purina EN and she has been on it ever since. I was very concerned about the Local Prices, and even other website offers, and then I discovered Chewy.com. I have bought many items from this site and would and do recommend it to anyone I know that has pets. My Lab mix (Lucy) is doing wonderful. I couldn't ask for better service and competitive pricing than what Chewy offers. The fastest free shipping I have ever received from any order I have ever made. And, it has been consistent in the speed and accuracy. Hurray for Purina En, and Hurray for Chewy.com for their wonderful service to the pet lovers world.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Star121 Helped my 1yo Puppy
My 1yo puppy had suddenly gotten ill with diarrhea... the vet thought she had colitis or IBS and maybe even needed a colonoscopy after ruling out a parasite. After the antibiotics for colitis, the diarrhea persisted. She had been on the same dog food since she was born and no other alternations were made in her diet. The vet said that she may have IBS and recommended this dog food. It was night and day difference. She has not had diarrhea since after the first bowl. It was hard to get used to her having BM every other day at first as the food is low fiber, but I have not cleaned up any more messes since the transition! So much happier! The other plus is that she loves the taste and will do any command for the food :D

Rated 2 out of 5 by SeaLight It works for IBD because there's nothing but fillers in it...
Our doctor recently diagnosed our Whippet/Boxer mix with IBD so he recommended we put her on this diet. We trust our doctor's advice, but after reading the ingredients, we're moving away from this food. Let's take a look at the first 5 ingredients:
Brewers rice, corn gluten meal, whole grain corn, chicken meal, animal fat preserved with mixed-tocopherols
The first 3 things are fillers and it takes the 4th ingredient to be any source of protein. Dogs need protein as the first ingredient, not rice, corn, grain, and other fillers.
We're going to be going a holistic approach that her nutritionist recommends instead of this food. I can't recommend it due to two reason: 1) it's Purina and 2) The main ingredients are fillers.
The reason why I gave it 2 stars is because it's helping with her IBD (if she does indeed have it) but the only reason WHY it's working is because there's nothing for her body to break down besides rice and corn.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Rocketsmom For my Labradoodle
I use this food on and off for my labradoodle that has a sensitive stomach. It was recommended by my vet as a balanced bland food. He loves it and his poops look great when he eats it. I am thinking of switching him 100% to this. Needed a vet's script. This was the cheapest price comparing to other websites.

My Vet, prescribed this dog food for my 10 1/2 year old boxer. Since being on this food, she has been more playful and active. It is obvious that she feels much better!
