Purina Pro Plan Veterinary Diets EN Gastroenteric Formula Canned Dog Food is rated 4.9 out of 5 by 129.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from THIS PRODUCT CHANGED OUR LIVES! My 16 year old Shih Tzu, Lola, had suffered with gastro problems on and off for the past 3 years. I changed her to grain-free high end food, then started pro-biotic capsules every day. It worked for a little while, then back to bouts of bloody diarrhea. I then took her off dog food all together and started boiled chicken thighs, soft boiled eggs, peas & carrots, spinach, yogurt, pumpkin and supplements. It worked for about a month, then the bloody diarrhea returned. Bloodwork showed nothing abnormal. Then I switched veterinarians and the first thing that my new vet did after another complete blood panel, was recommend this product. It has changed our lives! Lola is thriving, 100% better and she LOVES the food. She will bark for her breakfast and dinner and practically inhales it!!! I will never again feed her anything but this and I highly recommend it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from IAMS replacement IAMS quit making food used by Bailee for 1.5 years. Replaced with Royal Canin which she couldn't tolerate. Vet recommended Purina and she at least likes it. Will wait to see if intestinal issues improve.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cleared up our digestive issues When we first got our dog from the shelter, he had a very, very stubborn case of giardia that had him on antibiotics on and off for nearly three months! When he was still experiencing very serious diarrhea, but we had confirmed the giardia had totally treated, we figured the bacteria in his gut had to have been impacted by all of those antibiotics! We started just giving him wet EN food and FortiFlora daily, and within two weeks, his diarrhea had cleared. The only negative about this product is that it gets pricey to feed it to a large dog, so we are currently doing 1/2 and 1/2 with the EN dry food and plan to switch fully to the dry in the next few weeks. If we had a smaller dog, we would keep him on this for good!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Vet recommended Our older dog had some issues eating and his Vet recommended this food to be mixed in with his dry food and it worked. The only bad thing is that he, well, gets flatulence and it will knock your socks off. He's happy and I'm looking for my socks.
