  • Our Newfoundland loves these treats.

    By on

With our Newfoundland on a special diet and not able to have the regular pet store treats, the specialty vet recommended these Gentle Snackers for her. She loves them and I have had to order more as we were running out before our auto delivery.

  • Glad to have options

    By on

So glad to have treat options. Our boy has some bad food allergies and these treats have done well for him! His royal canin treats are so similar to his food that at times he doesn't even want a treat, but we discovered these gentle snackers, so now no more burn out on the old treats, we have options and can rotate.

  • Tender tummy treat

    By on

My dog must eat hydrolyzed protein (prescription) food and treats. We used only Science Diet and Royal Canin, and with some hesitation I ordered Gentle Snackers. After a couple weeks of limited treats, I see no signs of digestive issues. This is especially good because these treats fit better in his Kong.

  • Complements the Purina H/A kibble

    By on

Our dog has never been able to have anything other than her kibble. Until Gentle Snackers we only used kibble as her treats too. Now she can have a treat every once in awhile. She is loves them. While not purchased from Chewy, she can have salt free rice cakes. Always nice to give your pet a little something special. So glad Purina makes the Snackers and Chewy carries them. Thanks

  • Good stuff

    By on

My dog is on the same hydrolyzed food plan due to allergy. I think we know what the allergy is, but I will continue to keep her on these treats. They don't make my dog hyper and she loves them!

  • New treats

    By on Top 1000 Contributor

Tried the Purina sensitive treats so Bailee would be fully on the Purina. Didn't like these as much as the previous brand but she did like them and they didn't upset her girlie tract.

  • Vet Recommended, Pet Approved

When my German Shepherd was diagnosed with IBD I felt bad that he couldn't have treats anymore. It also made it difficult for me to be able to train him further when there was no reward for him completing a task. Thankfully Purina makes HA treats as well which go along with his Purina HA diet. I thought they would be bland, like cardboard because they are soy, but boy was I wrong. My boy absolutely loves them and will sit at the fridge asking for cookies because he knows they are up there. Thank you for considering the pets that have sensitivities and need special prescription diets. my picky eater loved them at first bite. He is on a low fat diet and they did not upset his stomach. He has pancreatitis. They are worth taking a chance on.
