Rated 4.6 out of 5 by 110 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Seems to work but not satisfying my Great Dane! I have a 6mo Great Dane puppy. After 3 months of running stools and bad rashes and going through many top brand expensive foods, this food finally did the trick. Stools are back to normal and his rash is almost gone. It took 3 wks for skin rash improvement though. Which the vet says is normal. My only issue is that he's not ever satisfied after eating. He started out eating 4 cups in the morning and 4 at night. (He's 100lbs already). Then we went to 5. Then 6 and now 7. He is always hungry and getting more aggressive with our food. He needs more substance. That's my only concern and would consider switching because we go through a bag too fast. Also, he'll only eat it if I mix in some water. Weird but true. But it works for all his allergies and tummy issue! September 22, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great for our whippet Our whippet puppy has had problems with runny poos for almost three months. She is about 11 months old now. We tried several different dry dog foods. We tried food with different protein sources as well as limited ingredients without corn. After additional blood work at the vet's, it was recommended that we try this. Within three days her poop problems were gone. She was itching as well, so we are still waiting to see if this food clears up this problem. I heard it could take several weeks for this to improve. Rated 2 out of 5 by Still Trying! First I would like to say how pleased I am with the Chewy website and their customer service. It is outstanding! As far as this product, while it did not work for my Westie, it may be a great product for other owner's dogs who are experiencing IBD issues. My Westie has suffered with the IBD issues for a number of years and I will continue to try and find a product that will work for him. Again, I'm not criticizing Purina (I use another one of their products for our other Westie and it works fine). We'll just keep trying! August 30, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by fast service on hard to find product. Called company with question and very polite efficient service. Vegetarian diet hard to find and Gus must have because of stomach/allergy issues so very happy to be able to get it this quickly. Thanks. August 21, 2016

Rated 5 out of 5 by Great for Dog with Food Allergies Our hound has severe food allergies. After trying everything in PetSmart for allergy problems and even cooking her food, our vet, put her on this food. She has been eating it for almost 2 years now with no problems. August 18, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Maks really seems to like this food! I have always hated prescription dog food. It just doesn't look appetizing! Purine Pro Plan is different and my German Shepherd, Maks, agrees! It seems to agree with his sensitive stomach and that especially makes both of us happy. August 18, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by no meds needed! We have a sweet 2.5 year old boxer-mix afflicted with irritable bowel disease. His list of protein sensitivities is a mile long- even medications occasionally fail to stop the runny poos. We spent months trying limited ingredient commercial dog foods and finally had to give up. We've been on this food now for several months and his bowels seem to have returned to some semblance of normal. No meds, no runny poos. I don't think it's the most palatable of dog foods, but our boy isn't picky, he's maintaining a healthy weight and we can tell he feels good. He eats 5 cups a day so it gets expensive, but it's worth the cost if his tummy is healthy. July 23, 2016
