These natural bones can be fed anytime as a snack or reward, as a substitute for chewing furniture (especially useful for teething puppies!), to occupy a dog during travel time or to help alleviate separation anxiety. They provide an enjoyable chewing experience and satisfy a dogs natural carnivorous instincts.

Feeding Instructions

Treat Responsibly: Redbarn recommends a size slightly larger than your pets mouth. Natural bones may splinter or break causing injury to their stomach or teeth, so you should always supervise use. If the bone should splinter, break, or if your pet is trying to break the bone, remove it immediately. Throw away any pieces that could be swallowed by your pet as pieces can cause choking, gastric upset, or blockage.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Splinter Ended up tossing these. If you get them, monitor your pet because the bone splintered into fragments.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Redbarn Ham bones a huge hit I have three Irish Wolfhounds who love these Redbarn Ham bones. From the way they go after them I would say the bones are very flavorful. My three certainly got a lot of chewing enjoyment out of these bones. I would suggest starting either on a towel,a washable rug or outside as these bones have quite a bit left on them and when chewed it does get a bit messy. I will definitely buy these again.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointing I gave a bone to each of my dogs and within a matter of 15-20 minutes one of the bones started to splinter. Immediately took the bones away from both dogs and will not purchase again.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Really stinky and shatter for my dog Ok, these are really stinky. I decided to donate the other two I'd bought to a shelter, with the following :My dog went through it pretty fast, the bones are hollow but not that sturdy, I had to take away the shattered pieces as he ate. Watch you dog carefully and prepare for the smell. Won't buy again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product through Chewy.com as always My husky, wolfdogs and greyhound all love these. They can be a little messy so I usually set my pooches up outside to start chewing. Once the oily exterior is gone they are ok to chew inside with no worries. They do break a bit with some smaller pieces which cause no problem for my dogs crunch strength----but smaller dogs should chew with more caution. Love them!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not for Aggressive Chewers I used to give my dogs a Greenies at nighttime as part of the going to bed ritual. One of my dogs developed sensitivity to grains and I suspect chicken so I stopped using them. I thought I would try these as an alternative. My Goldendoodle is an aggressive chewer and after about half an hour, she'd demolished each end of the bone and was on her way to eat the rest of it. I took it away from her. The ends are mostly cartilage so I wasn't concerned about her having eaten that part. My Standard Poodle played with the bone for a little bit and chewed on it for a short time. He is missing his side molars so he has difficulty grasping onto the large ends of these types of bones. It was clear that they both liked the taste.
