  • This stuff is great :)

I'm absolutely satisfied with the performance of this product. Our dogs are finicky about getting sprayed down, so we'll spray it onto our hands and give them a good ol' petting party... they don't know they just got medicated, and my apartment smells spicy. Everyone wins. Well, everyone except the ticks, because they can't get onto my boys or into my apartment anymore.

  • Great Organic Tick Repellent!

    By on

I wanted an organic treatment to repel ticks for my dog that was safe! I have tried a myriad of products with little to no affect. Richard's Organic spray really works well. My dog does smell like a "spice muffin", but it's better than having ticks. She still will get an occasional tick, but I think that is pretty good since we live in a very wooded area and she has free-run. You do have to re-apply if the dog gets wet (ie. rain or bath). This is a very bad tick season in our area and we barely notice!

  • Not just for dogs anymore!

We first tried Richard's Organic Flea and Tick Spray two years ago! We live in the Florida panhandle where fleas and ticks are a year around problem! THIS WORKS! However, bugs are also a problem for us humanoids! Yellow flies are vicious here as are mosquitoes and no see ums! We began spraying ourselves with it, after all its organic so what could it hurt? PLUS it smells wonderfully like wild herbs! Dang! It works better than Deet ! It works better as an insect repellent than anything we have used before! We are in our 70's so believe me, we have used everything over the years! This works BEST! So now we AND our dogs are pest free and smelling great!

  • Pretty good product

    By on

I've been using Richard's Organics for about 2 weeks now with decent results. I only say decent because you very much have to make sure your pooch is covered from head to foot. If you miss a spot the ticks seem to find it! I purchased the Richard's Organics shampoo as well but have yet to use it. Hopefully with the combination of the spray and shampoo my pooch will be tick free! Overall good product and I've been pleasantly surprised.

  • So far, so good

    By on

I used the antibacterial shampoo, and that worked extremely well for my dog's sensitive, itchy skin from allergies and hot spots. So I decided to try the flea and tick spray. So far, with a wet, mild winter and a warm spring, I haven't seen fleas or ticks! I haven't been using it long, and he seems resistant to just about everything I've tried. So I'm not holding my breath, but I bathed him today, and didn't get one flea! The smell of the oils is very potent, but it's better than the nasty chemicals that I have to watch my kids and cats with. Or the smell of "dog", for that matter, so I can put up with it. Again, so far so good!

  • long time user

Works great on my 2 Chis. Yes, it is a little bit gooey on their skin but this is what fleas appear to hate. But it works very well and I like the smell- medicinal, herbal, minty. GUESS WHAT??? IT ALSO KILLS BED BUGS ON CONTACT!! And I used it to kill ants and millipedes, and it appears to slow down spiders. This is a fantastic product that has many uses. I highly highly recommend this product.

  • Smells nice, leaves dog greasy

    By on

I haven't used it to kill fleas or ticks. I've only used it to repel before I take my dogs out to play. I'm not sure if it works because my dogs never really get fleas or ticks anyways. I mostly use it as a perfume for them, the smell lasts for days and leaves the house smelling super minty :) all of the perfumes/sprays I've purchased in the past wears off within minutes, but this smells so good and fresh for days!

  • Natural beats Chemical

I love this spray. I feel so much better spraying this on my little dog than a chemical spray. It smells amazing too.

  • Failed to repell ticks

    By on

Purchased this three weeks ago and have bathed my dog once a week since purchased. On the third weekend after Tuckers bath I found three ticks two embedded and one crawling around. This is a waste of money for Flea and Ticks. Sorry hate to give a bad review.

  • Really works!

    By on

This repellent not only is organic and actually does what it says it does, but my dog has never smelled so good. After spraying my dog I was outside with him watching a mosquito approach him, the mosquito was zooming in on his ear, which was an area that I sprayed. As soon as it got within 2 inches of his ear, it took a left and headed away. He also has not had a single tick. Great product!
