Small dogs need more than just a small kibble. They need more energy than big dogs, and they have a shorter and more intense growth period. Plus, they typically live longer than large dogs, and have a more finicky appetite. Whether we’re talking about their bodies or their lifestyle, small dogs are a little bit different from the rest of the canine world. Fortunately, Royal Canin Mini is distinctly different, too.

Key Benefits

  • For dogs from 10 months to 8 years between 9 & 22 pounds

Rated 5 out of 5 by PERFECT HEALTH FOOD Jessie [American Eskimo/Shiatsu] eats this brand/type exclusively. She is VERY active, intelligent, well behaved, and loving. When we started her on Canin you could see her coat come in thicker, her energy pick-up, and her stomach settle {first dog food not to give occasional runs}. The stomach benefit let us stick with it to see other benefits emerge [they did not happen over night]. I have and will continue to recommend CANIN. ThanX Patrick PS: JESSIE FOLLOWS 24 DIFFERENT COMMANDS (brain food) July 26, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by My Bentley loves his Royal Canin. Mr. Bentley is now ten months old and has been eating Royal Ccanin for 7 months and he loves it. He gobbles it up twice a day along with maybe one or two treats a day. His coat looks great and his vet says he is as healthy a dog can be. So we will be continuing to use Royal Caninenl for the foreseeable future. July 23, 2016

Rated 5 out of 5 by First Time Buyer So far so good. I just rescued a maltipoo and she seems to like this food. The pellets are nice and small and much easier for her to chew then the regular Royal Canin Adult food. So looks like this food will work out just fine for her! July 25, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Muffin (Bijon/Yorkshire) speaks for it!! It has a great fish/oil/salmony smell and probably taste as well. Muffin (Bijon/Yorkshire) speaks when I offer it to her and Maggie Mae (Shihtzu/Maltese can't wait to have it. Great product and good size for their breeds. June 7, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by Not for my dog I bought it for my little dachshund. Mixed it for a month with his previous food slowly increasing the Royal Canin for small dogs until he was only eating that. That is when the loose bowels and then diarrhea started. He liked it. It is just too rich for his system. Now I am stuck with a big bag that he can't eat. I first bought the little bag then this one......I always take a month or more to mix. May 1, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by spoiled dogs loved the products my dogs eat only this or real chicken of course. i have tried every brand of food and cavalier king charles spaniels are finicky. they have let food stay in their bowls for days and only eat when no treats are in sight and they are starving..royal canin products i had to look in the ingredients to make sure it was legal ; ) THEY EAT IT WITHIN MINUTES...
