Rated 5 out of 5 by William1969 good product
ordering online makes purchasing and delivery much more convenient for me than going to the store every time I need this type of dog food.

Rated 5 out of 5 by minniejsmom1 Awesome!
My pooch is crazy for this. We make little meatballs and also slice and freeze it for. treats. He started on this only for a seriously bad case of IBD. Now loves the kibble of it too. Forget freeze dried liver, pig ears, steak. He wants this. My pups were spoiled with lots of tasty treats. A steak if we made one. Now, he ignores us making a steak and runs to freezer whenever it opens, hoping to get a frozen meatball!!! He doesn't even turn his head when the treat jar opens for our other puppy! It's expensive but it's a lot cheaper than vet bills or high quality treats. My pup is a 150 pound Dogue de Bordeaux.

Rated 4 out of 5 by megstr I recommend this protein for dogs with skin and internal allergies.
After spending a ton of money trying to figure out why my poor Gizmo would not stop licking his inflammed paws and why his coat was very oily feeling and his skin flakey, I learned he was allergic to every kind of food I gave him! No matter what kind of dog food I gave him (even organic, wheat free, grain free) he would lick his paws all day long and his nail beds had weird gooy stuff that u could scrape off with your nail. My animal dermatologist recommended this food for him and thank God she did because it has helped him so much! No more licking and oily coat. Gooy nail beds have cleared up. It's truely amazing! I fork feed my guy this like it's a gourmet meal. My other dogs want to eat it up so that is why I have to fork feed. Highly recommend this to any body who has a dog with skin allergies and you have tried every type of dog food on the market. I have contacted the company because of the dark specs I have found in the food when opening a new can.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Babs Adds zip to kibble
Dolce is a 7-yr old German Shepard recently diagnosed @ UC Davis with inflammatory bowel disease. She can eat absolutely nothing but her food. Kibble was not cutting it, so vet recommended adding this canned food. Now she can't wait for her meals! I mix the canned food with warm water, add kibble and sneak pills in. All gone!

Rated 5 out of 5 by SDSUNDOG A little pricey, but goes a long way
We have three small dogs that were always scratching and licking itches. We changed their food to hydrolyzed protein canned and dry food. We add a little of the canned food on top of the kibble. One can lasts for 3 days for 2 meals per day for 3 dogs. The excessive itching and scratching has stopped. I think it is worth it to spend more money on quality food and less money at the vet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by ookook1 veterinary hydrolized protein can food
this has been a life saver, my cairn terrier developed inflammatory bowel disease and lost 30% of body weight before we found a diet (rc hydrolized protein canned diet) and medication (prednisone) back in april that stabilized situation. she is almost off steroid, has had normal bowel function since april. she has returned to usual energy level and function. we will look to supplement with something to help build up weight once she is off steroids.
