Rated 5 out of 5 by My dog loves this food. My dog has a sensitive tummy so I have to feed her special protein food. She loves this Select Protein PD dry food which thrills me because I like her to have something crunchy. The bag size is also perfect. My local store doesn't carry a variety of bag sizes. This is great! September 8, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Royal Canin Select PD - Great Size My Weimaraner has been diagnosed with IBD and in addition has environmental allergies so her Internist prescribed the duck for her. My girl cannot get enough of this food and is nudging me before her next feeding time. I get my order usually within 2 days. I have increased my girls food intake as she has loss weight previously so it's great that she loves the food. September 6, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great bargain Been buying from the vet, but this is much cheaper! August 31, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Its a prescription required for my dog. The dog needs to eat on a daily basis. She does like the food. June 15, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by So far so good - dog loves it. I have a 2 and a half year old yellow lab. He has been having ear infections and biting his paws. One of them was irritated and fur missing. The vet said this is a sign of food allergies. They suggested a single protein limited ingredient dog food. I chose to get The Royal Canin prescription food at the Vet. We are on the second bag. We have not noticed him biting his paws. So far so good. My only concern at this point is the bag says for his weight he can have 6 and a half cups a day. I started him with 2 in the morning and 2 at night like he normally ate - only now he can't have the treats he used to get. He inhales this food - seems to like it but seems very hungry. I have gradually increased him to 3 cups in the morning and 3 at night. I'm hoping he doesn't gain weight. Also, the vet only had the 17 lb bag but I did find this 25 lb bag. Anyway we will continue to monitor him on this. February 15, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by This product is a godsend for my pit bull with allergies My sweet pit is allergic to all grains, chicken, turkey, and beef. She tolerates duck and venison only. Her skin is beautiful. She looks like a puppy at 11 years. She is happy, playful, and slim. I am grateful for this product. May 10, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Ducklicious As soon as he comes in from his walk he stands by his bowl waiting for his food. I pour it in and all of a sudden it's gone. May 9, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by My dog likes it. My dog has atopic dermatitis. She also had a "sensitive" stomach. Since being prescribed this food, her digestive issues have vanished. I wish I could say the same about the skin issues which were the reason for this prescription. Unfortunately that isn't the case, but maybe things would be worse if she were on another diet. Also, even though she was always a very picky eater, she doesn't seem to object to this food at all. She actually seems to like it. Overall I think she's healthier since we started using this food.
