  • Very good food for skin issues

    By on

I have been feeding Royal Canin Skin Support for approximately 3 years. This food is wonderful. I feed it to my dachshund and also my Maltese. My vet and I both noticed the Maltese never has any eye tear stains or stains where she licks. We both think this food has something to do with this. I highly recommend feeding this

  • great dog food for skin issues

    By on

This food was prescribed for my golden retriever for itchiness and dry scabby skin. Since he has been eating it (two years at least), his skin has been great. The food is by prescription only, and Chewy.com was a pleasure to work with. Their prices are unmatched and a deep savings. I am thrilled!

  • Treatment of life long skin/allergy issues

    By on

We adopted Sam when she was 9 but from her condition and the records we did see, she had suffered from bad to VERY bad allergy related skin and ear infections since she was a pup. We are trying as wholistic an approach as we can with the guidance of the fine vets at Tufts Animal Hospital and Medfield Animal Hospital. Diet is one of the 'legs of the stool'. She tolerates this food well and we are hopeful that the antioxidants and amino acids formulated to help her build a barrier to fight infection is the extra support she needs!

  • LIFE CHANGING FOOD FOR ALLERGIC DOGS

    By on

I have tried every kind of food possible. Raw, dehydrated, freeze-dried, canned, cooked, you name it. The ONLY food my dog can tolerate is this one. It has saved her life. She used to explode in bacterial skin infections that would scab off and pull her hair out with it. It was an absolute misery. Ever since my vet recommended Royal Canin Skin Support, she has virtually no eruptions. This is an AMAZING food for dogs with food allergies, sensitivities, and other skin issues. It's expensive but so worth it. She loves it too!

  • Great food for allergy suffering dogs

    By on

This food worked well for our dog with severe allergies. He is also a picky eater and eats this without complaint. I wish the kibble was a little larger in size since our dog is a giant breed.

  • THIS FOOD REALLY WORKS GREAT FOR MY DOGS SKIN!!

    By on

My mixed Pitbull was having skin issues since we got him at 3 months old. His Vet recommended this dog food after some antibiotics and medicine wipe to heal his skin. The food maintained his skin and coat looking shinny and full with no more bare spots. When I ran out of his food and the local store i was buying it from didnt have any in stock. I bought something else. After a couple of weeks his coat and skin started to get those bare spots all over. Needless to say i went back to get his prescribed food and about a week later spots about all gone, coat nice and shinny. Hence why im on Chewy ordering the 32lb bags for now on. Great product and a very happy dog :)

My dog has had skin issues for years because of his allergy problems. Although this product hasn't cured his allergies, it has helped his skin to deal with the itchiness and dryness.
