Rated 4.6 out of 5 by 27 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by This product is the best for my allergic to everything dog! When out in a remote area and the local vet (who has for years been able to) was not able to source the food that my dog prefers ... CHEWY to the rescue. Thank you for your prompt attention and especially over the 4th of July holiday for getting the delivery made in a timely and professional way. Thanks so much. July 14, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great for Dogs with Allergies My dogs hives went away in less than a week after being on this food. May 2, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Very Good Vegetarian Dry Food. The Bichon/Yorkie has allergies to animal protein, especially chicken. Who knew there was such a thing for dogs. The vet said to try a vegetarian diet. (Now our whole household is vegetarian). The dog has less itching/scooting/ear-infections. To order this; you have to have your vet contact Chewy- not a big deal just add a little more time when ordering. April 16, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by The dog food that pays you back! I'm Not sure what was more costly, maintenance on my poodle or my BMW. The dog is running like new and we took the BMW to Carmax. Beni is 12+ and was constantly miserable with allergies and ear infections. I think he may even be moving a little better because he can still hop up on the bed and run around and play like the old days. Love My Dog! By the way, I think he likes the taste too! April 9, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by On the fence My American Bulldog has terrible skin issues/allergies...trying to determine if it's coming from the food I'm feeding him, so my vet recommended putting him on this dog food for a month to see if it helps. Problem is, he really doesn't like it. Poor baby just sits there staring at his bowl and then back at me like he's saying, "Really mom? Where's the meat??!!" He may be scratching a bit less than he was before, but it's been 10 days on this food and he will only eat when he's starving. I feel TERRIBLE!! Can't really say that I recommend this product, but I also don't want to not recommend it - obviously some dogs like it. December 14, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by No problems with product, delivery is important Our dog, a working service dog, now 12, had several thousand dollars in vet emergency care and was put on this diet and doesn't seem to have problems. The delivery to our door is important as we no longer own a car. February 11, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by This food has made a big difference in my dog's skin allergies. My cocker spaniel has greatly reduced the amount of scooting, itching, and licking while on this food. January 29, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Hoping to make allergy tests unnecessary I took Buddy to a dermatologist after much effort with regular vet attempts to stop his skin allergy. She prescribed Royal Canin Vegetarian dry food to see if his allergy was caused by his regular dry food (other high quality brands with various meat - no grains types). He certainly loves this new food and transitioned easily. I would recommend trying this diet for 3 months before spending hundreds - perhaps thousands with a dermatologist. I hope they will make the food available in smaller bags. (For older folks with degenerated spines and arthritic joints.) Chewy's prices and customer service are the best I have found.
