  • GOOD FOOD

    By on

There isn't much to review. My veterinarian prescribed this food for my 2 year old Labrador who always had soft stools. This food solved all the problems and I think she metabolizes it better because there is far less poop to scoop. However, it is SO SO SO expensive! I buy it from CHEWY because I save about $15-20. per bag but still, paying about $65.00 for 22# bag is outrageous. I hope I can find something less expensive eventually but for now, my dog and I are happy.

  • Great for low appetite active dogs

    By on

I'm imported a puppy and the stress from all the flights had her with a very minimal appetite and my vet prescribed this to ensure that even if she was eating a small amount she would get a good amount of calories - it worked great !!!

  • Stanley is able to properly digest this brand.

    By on

Love the Royal Canin products for our Beagle. They do not upset his stomach like so many other brands do. My only complaint is with FED X. They like to leave my order in the driveway. Its very difficult to manuveor around it. I would like it if they would place it on the front porch which is under roof yet open to the front yard.

  • Excellent Food for Gastro-Sensitive Dogs

    By on

Perfect blend for our gatro-sensitive Chihuahua who also has acid reflux and naturally with the breed hypoglycemia. Her Vet suggested this brand of RX food and she LOVES it! We tried the wet variety of this food but it didn't farewell with her sensitive stomach as it has a higher grease/fat content. The dry food is wonderful, still has the gastro-sensitive blend minus the grease and she LOVES it (her stomach too). She has had less acid reflux and her sugar level is healthily maintained with the High Energy Gastro. Royal Canin has mastered the art of health specific food and we are so thankful. Thank you Chewy.com for keeping this hard to find food in stock!

  • Sensitive Puppy Stomach

    By on

My 6 month old puppy has had a sensitive stomach since he came to live with us. We tried many different things and this food is the only one to make him "regular." He hasn't been sick once since we started him on this food.

  • Is your dog ribby and very high energy?

    By on

We have a St. Bernard runt who weighs 60 lbs. Buffy acts like Nana from Peter Pan in the house, shuffling around, acting friendly and sleeping. Outside on our farm she is very fast (she actually brought down a deer!) and runs like lightning with our two beagles trailing behind. If she doesn't get Royal Canin High Energy she loses weight quickly. Our other five dogs can't use it without liposuction (no, really not) but for a dog like Buffy, it's a godsend.

  • Thankful to find this product.

My 10 mo old puppy has had an ongoing problem with severe diarrhea. Since introducing Royal Canine his diarrhea has cleared up and his energy level has dramatically increased. It's a bit pricey but cheap when compared to the vet bills and prescription filled trying to correct the problem.

  • Saved bruno Life

    By on

My 1 year old Boxer got hit by a car and broke his hind femur in 3 spots , along with 3 fractures to the pelvic. o f course he lost weight but then over the healing process he continued to lose weight, he didn't want to eat much , but Royal Canin saved him. He loves this food and it put all his weight back on and is starting to look and feel healthy again.

  • Saved our Golden's life

    By on

Years ago our (now 14yo) Golden Retriever suddenly stopped absorbing nutrients from the food the rest of the pack was eating*. Switched him to this and never looked back. He weighs almost the same as when we adopted him 11 years ago. Excellent health. We have also fed to fellow pack members during temporary bouts of diarrhea. *We since changed that food after determining ingredients had been changed.
