  • this dogfood is amazing!!!

    By on

My husky Kai has the most sensitive stomach ever!! I've been through so many other dog foods to find one he was able to eat, but every one I tried gave him vomiting and horrible diarrhea. Kai was losing so much weight and could only eat rice, and it scared me. I was close to giving up, but I'm so thankful my vet recommended this brand! I transitioned him from Royal Canin's puppy formula to the one he's currently on, their High Energy formula, without any problems! He's been doing great on it! It's been a life saver! So I definitely recommend this food to anyone who's dog has a sensitive tummy too!

  • Misleading and inaccurate website promises

    By on

I was very disappointed with (1) the promise of 1-2 day shipping which actually was 5 days and (2) that my initial order was supposed to get an extra 20% off because I signed up for Autoship and it is not until checkout that you find out their is a $15 cap on the 20% off. I should have received $31.54 off of my first order but instead received $15.00 off. The website, in my opinion, is generally misleading on at least these two points, which to me is not fair to its customers. I will not recommend Chewy to friends until they fix these issues and make special offers more clear prior to purchase. The products I purchased were just fine.

  • The only dog food my dog will eat.

    By on

We have a very finicky Akita and she refuses to eat most everything (including human food and fast food). Our Vet contacted Royal Canin and told them our problem. They came up with this food and she eats it better than anything we have tried. It may take a while to go through a bag, but at least she eats it. I would recommend it to others who have the same problem.

  • Royal Canin makes great dog food!!

    By on

Our vet handles Royal Canin dog food and she recommended we start feeding it to our Boston Terriers several months ago. They are really full of energy since; especially the almost 10 year old one.

She absolutely loves this dog food. Normally we have to add water and some additional people food for her to make her eat her dog food but this brand she loves right out of the package.

  • Vet recommended and it helped!

    By on

I was trying forever with other brands as well as probiotics to help stabilize my dog's gut. When I switched him to this food, his problem went away in a week. I am sticking with this food.

  • Healthy Meal

    By on

This food ordered by my Vet was part of an overall regimen that included anti-biotics as well as pro-biotics to combat and cure chronic enteritis in our 22 month old Lab. It is very easily digested and very high in nutrient value thereby minimizing waste product. It has put needed weight on a pup that prior to the Vet's treatment was afflicted with chronic vomiting and diarrhea. Very valuable to the overall cure regimen.

  • GOOD FOOD

    By on

There isn't much to review. My veterinarian prescribed this food for my 2 year old Labrador who always had soft stools. This food solved all the problems and I think she metabolizes it better because there is far less poop to scoop. However, it is SO SO SO expensive! I buy it from CHEWY because I save about $15-20. per bag but still, paying about $65.00 for 22# bag is outrageous. I hope I can find something less expensive eventually but for now, my dog and I are happy.

My 1 year old Boxer got hit by a car and broke his hind femur in 3 spots , along with 3 fractures to the pelvic. o f course he lost weight but then over the healing process he continued to lose weight, he didn't want to eat much , but Royal Canin saved him. He loves this food and it put all his weight back on and is starting to look and feel healthy again.
