  • My dog loves this food!

    By on

Our chihuahua/terrior mix started having severe food allergies last December. She was vomiting, lethargic, itchy dry skin on her belly and under arms. We took her to a Veterinary Allergist and ran all the tests (big $$$) and started her on a food trial as well. Our vet suggested Ultamino and although she is still a little itchy, we believe its more environmental not food. Did I mention that our dog LOVES this food! It's a little big for her mouth, but we just soak it in a little water before we feed her and she wolfs it right down. Personally, I think it smells like vanilla wafers and looks like them too. It's about 20% more than regular nonprescription foods but it's worth it since we know there Our chihuahua/terrior mix started having severe food allergies last December. This is a great product. My dog is allergic to everything.....and again Chewy has helped me with yet another food to take off the list that my dog can not tolerate. Thank God for Chewy.....They are the best company that I have ever worked with........Great service and wonderful people who actually answer the phone. If it wasn't for this company, I would not be able to afford to keep my dog.....Thank you

  • You won't believe the results!

Our 6 year old Boston had skin allergies that seemed to get worse every year. We were concerned with permanent scarring and hair loss from the rash and bumps. Our veterinarian prescribed the Ultamino and complete withdrawal from over-the-counter foods and snacks. In prime season for pollen and irritants she has completely recovered. We are astounded at the results. She has lost 8lbs and her coat shines with no skin rash or bumps. Completely clear. No more hydrocortisone cream or special shampoo. WIth the constant itching gone, she is more attentive and obviously feels better. What a difference! By the way, after initial grumpiness losing her normal food and snacks, she loves this food. • Great results so far

    By on

Patton is a 6 1/2 year old German Shepherd with gastrointestinal issues. We have been struggling to find the right food for him. He was getting so thin. He was eating his food but had stomach issues and was not gaining weight. We have just started our second bag and he is gaining weight now. He loves the food so far so good. It is expensive but I am glad he is doing better.

My dog has allergies with everything! This is the only dog food he can eat. Chewy just called my vet and ok'd the prescription and we were set to order online. Ordering with chewy and Auto ship saves me at Least $20 a bag. Thank you chewy.com!

  • Did not work

    By on

I really wanted to like this dog food. It was recommended by our vet for a very itchy lab. Alas, it has not helped. It actually made the lab more gassy (on top of itchy). He does seem to like the taste though. By the way, for those that have smell aversion - this has a very strong smell.

  • Two Thumbs Up

    By on

My dog has severe food allergies and can only eat one type of dog food. It was over $100 a month for a 20lb dry food bag! A friend told me about Chewy and I saved a bundle! I ordered it on Saturday and had it early the following week. No charge for shipping, which saved me even more money. And it came straight to my front door neatly packaged. Great job Chewy, you now have a loyal customer!

  • Royal Canin dog food

    By on

My vet put my Boston on this food along with Apoquil and for the first time in years he's not itching and his coat is beautiful. The vet is a little pricey so I ordered from Chewy and it's a lot more affordable and convenient. You can move your dates if you need to. I just did. Great deal!

  • Great food for dogs

    By on

Our Scottish Terrier went through many different brands of food but his skin always seemed to be not in the best of condition and he scratched himself. We went through various tests and ended up putting him on this food. It made all the difference. He has been taking this food for few years and buying it at our local pet store every four weeks became old. I finally signed up for Auto-Ship here on Chewy and am saving around $15 per order. It's a win-win-win!

  • Itching and Licking relieved

    By on

We switched to this food after reading the positive reviews on how the diet helped dogs who suffered from dermatological problems. Our dog was licking his paws, and when we switched, he absolutely LOVED the new food! His licking has decreased but not yet gone away completely. Since he loves the food (he was fussy with the old food, which is a premium dog food), we are sticking with the food, and will try some additional treatments to relieve the licking. We have only been feeding the new food for a couple of weeks, so it may take more time.
