Rated 5 out of 5 by Janniperk Great so far!
We've only had this for a couple of weeks now, but it works great on our GSD and it doesn't seem too "sharp" as someone had warned. The old one's handle broke away from its body - let's see how this one does.

Works well, feels sturdy (or at least sturdier than my old one) and is easy to clean. I am happy with my purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jordan Cleaning function makes for easy hair removal
No complaints on the brush (though, not sure puppy likes it just yet). They are pokey, so if your dog has sensitive skin, would recommend another type. If not, the functionality of the brush makes removing hair from the bristols easy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by shain great timesaver
I have 4 border collies 2 long hair 2 short..this brush saves time not having to stop and clean off the brush every few passes...hair just comes off with a quick shake after pressing the plunger...
the only issue I have is that the ends if the teeth seem to be somewhat sharp...at least that's what my dogs seem to think when I get too close to the skin with too much pressure...just be aware of this possibility....other wise great product and easy for me to handle even with arthritic hands.....shain

Rated 5 out of 5 by Sooz Great for GSD
This is a great brush for GSD's, which I have. I always start with a slicker brush and then finish off with a rake brush. The slicker brush does a great job in getting through the coats and making sure his fur is ready for the rake brush. I love that you can press a button and the hair comes completely off the brush. Saves time and wasted energy on cleaning the brush to continue brushing. The comb itself is strong. It shouldn't bend. If it does, it is an indication that you are brushing your dogs hair too hard and could end up hurting s/he's coat and them in general. I would have to say, after previously owning a Husky, a Malamute, Samoyed, and Great Pyrenees, GSD's (my favorite) have some of the most difficult coats to maintain - hands down and this brush really helps.
