Description

Sojos Complete is a wholesome grain and gluten-free dog food that you simply combine with water to create your own fresh, homemade dog food. 1 pound of Complete rehydrates to 4 pounds of fresh, raw food your dog will love. This recipe is made with USDA freeze-dried raw beef and other all-natural ingredients.

Key Benefits

  • A 100% natural, complete and balanced, all life stage dog food that starts with USDA freeze-dried raw beef as the #1 ingredient followed by fruits, vegetables, vitamins and minerals.
  • The freeze drying process removes all the moisture from the food and retains vital proteins, minerals, and nutrients. It also allows the raw meat to stay shelf stable and means you can easily and conveniently feed your pup a raw diet. Since moisture has been removed it also take up less space: it rehydrates to 5 times the dry amount! To serve, all you do is add water, let soak for 15 minutes, and then serve.
  • This veterinarian-recommended grain and gluten-free recipe doesn't contain any soy, by-products, GMO's, added sugar or salt, artificial color or preservatives, so not only is it great for sensitive stomachs but you can feel confident about feeding it.
  • Added Flaxseed has natural omega fatty acids to promote skin and coat health while pumpkin is loaded with fiber to help with a healthy digestive tract.
  • Made in the USA!

  • convenient alternative to cooking homemade for my dogs

    By on

I've got six rescued dogs, most of them are now over 10, ranging from a Lab to a Pitbull to several medium to smaller mixed breeds. One of my female smaller dogs (25 lb) began to show signs of reluctance with the kibble which I wet with 50/50 water and quality canned food, so I looked around for something different, something softer for her. I almost bought a softer type of dry food when I saw this Sojos Beef recipe. I immediately figured it was worth a try. The smell was clean and the product looked like a veggie soup mix with chunks of dehydrated meat. When adding water the product needed a fair bit of time to absorb the water and still seemed a bit soupy, but my girl took to the taste immediately I've got six rescued dogs, most of them are now over 10, ranging from a Lab to a Pitbull to several medium to smaller mixed breeds. The smell was clean and the product looked like a veggie soup mix with chunks of dehydrated meat. When adding water the product needed a fair bit of time to absorb the water and still seemed a bit soupy, but my girl took to the taste immediately. In fact they all wanted some. I decided to heat it up to barely a simmer then turn off the heat and let it sit covered for a half hour to thicken and cool. Yeah, I know the whole "raw"thing, but I often cook for my dogs and this stuff actually makes a real good base when just brought to a simmer then cooled. I'm still experimenting, but the bottom line is every one of my dogs gobble this stuff down with gusto. And so far so good on their energy and digestion. There appears to be a fair amount of carrots and what appears to be cabbage and an very palatable herbal flavor. I'll probably combine this with boiled chicken at times since my main interest is not so much raw, but clean ingredients, the lack of additives, palatability, effectiveness and to some degree price. I won't be switching all my dogs to this as their main diet, but for a couple smaller dogs it's quite affordable, and I can use it as a portion of the diets of my larger dogs. I do recommend giving it a try. … more

  • New found delight

I have 5 dogs and with the allergies of my pug and the dangers of canned food recalls these days I was looking for an alternative to soft food and I found it in this. I make most of a meal of it for my senior pug adding to kibble and grain-free rolls of food cut into chunks and this brings it all together. She gobbles it up. I add this dry to my large dogs food and just add a tiny bit of water to make it coat the kibble and they eat all their food. No more kibble all over the floor because they picked out the good part ... they eat it all. I will try another flavor but the beef was a big hit!

  • make sure to add toppers!

got this at a local hollistic dog store, little cheaper on chewy which is nice. with orijen lowering their standards and switching their facilities i thought it was a good time to go to a dehydrated / raw diet. i'm just on sojos at the moment. a good addition is from honest kitchen called popper toppers. basically 100% meat to add on top to help fill the pups up. i really like that someone on here simmers it a little bit i'm going to try that!

  • Great for my dog with skin issues!

    By on

My dog is allergic to a lot of things, and after trying dozens of different kibbles we tried this and he's never looked better! His coat has been so shiny, his skin isn't red or flaky anymore. I've also noticed he sheds a lot less on this food. Even when he was doing well on some types of kibble he was never doing as well as he is on Sojos! We love it!

  • Really not a hit with my finicky dog

    By on

I ordered this product along with the turkey flavor after speaking with chewy customer service. My dog will only eat human food such as chicken, turkey, beef, cheese & I wanted to get her to eat something made for dogs that she might like. It really didn't do the trick even trying different methods. My other dogs won't even come near it even though they eat regular dog food. So I have to say in this case it was a fail and purchasing 2 bags was an expensive lesson for sure.

  • no peas please

For almost 2 years my dogs were on antibiotics and anti-fungals, for horrible rashes and scratching and chewing feet and legs, and they weren't that much help. I found Honest Kitchen preference mix and tried it . I loved it , or should I say my 2 dobermans loved and needed it. It stopped the itching. Problem is THK changed the recipe about 6 yrs out, and now they contain legumes in most, if not all of their foods. (legumes [chickpeas, navy beans, peas, lentils, etc] are the new CORN or starch filler in most dog foods) MY dogs went back to the feet and leg chewing and scratching, as soon as the recipes changed. I found Sojos while searching for dehyrated foods online. I am so pleased I did. The grain free beef complete food is legume free so far, and I can also use the sojo's grain free premix (also pea free)as I feed raw meat bone and organs everyday also. I still like the Sojos grain free complete beef food as a mix with my meat bone organs. I just serve less meat with the complete than I do with the pre mix. my dogs are rash free and not scratching anymore, and NO medications needed. They have thick beautiful coats, and clear eyes and are healthy and happy, which makes me happy. Give Sojos a try, your dog will thank you. … more

  • Like, sort of...

My dog just devours this food. I like the fact that it is raw and contains all the digestive enzymes that nature has provided. Sojo's has the oriental food effect on my dog, he is hungry 2 hours later. I have had to supplement with an almost equal amount of quality dry food so that my active puppy is able to make it to the next mealtime. More beef please!

  • Love it

I have four dogs total and feed raw quite a bit. I use this flavor and the goat and turkey and love it. My great pyrenees needs a food she won't get fat on, but maintains energy. My german shepherd is a service dog and needs tons of energy to work all day long. This food is amazing for both my pets and service dog as well as travels well, hydrates quickly and leaves smaller-firmer- poops!

  • Good and bad features

I bought this to keep on hand in case of emergency, war, etc. My dogs are okay with it, but 1) it separates in the bag and you have to be sure to mix it up before you prepare it, and 2) it only lasts 18 months. Wish it would last longer! I'll keep getting some to keep on hand, gradually replacing the ones that are about to expire. (i.e. I have 12 dogs)

  • Excellent Product

My 3 1/2 pound Yorkie absolutely loves this food and I feel she is getting a well balanced diet with it. So happy my vet recommended it. She has upset stomach issues frequently and hopefully this will help with that. I had previously been giving her cooked chicken breast with vegetables mixed in, but this is much easier and faster. Love it.
