Great Tasting — Natural chicken flavor dogs love!
With all chew products and treats, pets should be supervised as no product is completely indestructible. Pieces smaller than the mouth may present a choking hazard. When wet, treats may stain fabric and upholstery.
This is a great product both of our dogs are large and when they have a little anxiety or they are bored we offer this toy. Often times we take it away after they've calmed down this is the best way we found to use it. Keep in mind when you're dealing with large size dogs nothing lasts forever as they are aggressive with their chewing. If you're having trouble getting the treat in the toy try a little cod liver oil or olive oil and it will slide right in .

I was hoping they would last a few days... they lasted an hour, and left a sticky film on the carpet that was hard to clean up. However, my shepherds loved them. I see on Chewy that they have a rubber ring that these can be inserted to which I'm sure would make it much better. But at $9 a pop it's a bit much for us right now. Maybe for a Christmas splurge in a few months.

I bought this pack for a German Shepard and a smallish medium mix. The mix is still chewing on hers but the German Shepard chewed on it like it was bubble gum. He destroyed it in 30mins. They both loved the flavor of it.
Pros: dogs loved them and had fun with them. Good price and inexpensive.
Con: it was not everlasting for a large dog.
Is ANYTHING really EVERLASTING?
on Jul 14, 2017
My 100 lb goofball loved these treats, but they definitely were NOT "everlasting." Each disappeared in about 10 minutes and my boy is not a destroyer or terrible chewer. I guess that means this treat really taste that good. I wood buy them again, but at least now I know what to expect.
My dogs loved 'em!

Knowing that the dogs shouldn't work on chew toys too long, I only let them have these for about 15 mins at a time. They fought me taking them away, of course! But, overall, they worked on them 3 separate times before finishing them off. I have medium sized dogs, 48 & 60 lbs.
does not fit in the everlasting bento ball
on Jul 2, 2017
I thought that these discs would be replacements for Starmark's Everlasting Bento ball discs and/or their treat ball toys, but the everlasting treats dental chews do not coincide/fit with their toys. This is simply a odd disc that is too thick and large for my beagles to eat an entire disc.
Good chewy for strong chewer
on Jul 2, 2017
This took my strong chewer (8 month old Dane/Pyrenees mix) about 30 minutes to get through. He loved it! The only drawback is that it left some residue/coloring on the carpet, and it was a bit hard for him to hold on to by himself. It was easy to clean up, but it would be nicer to have a product that didn't leave stains behind.
Chewy is the best as are their treats

Our Havanese puppy & king Charles, wrestle over who gets the ball with the starmark treat. We had to buy 4 2 of each shape, but ghe chicken flavor is a winner. We can finally get Lottie to play fetch after 6 years & Bubulah follows suit. As you can see, it is licked all the way down in the middle. Keeps them occupied for quite a while.
So glad we found Chewy.com
Sincerely, Cydney Aronow-Neff
Good idea, but....

The treat that came with the original outer bit was lovely - both dogs played with it, and were quite happy, kept them happily distracted for decent periods of time.
However, the first insert we put in - apparently our Wolfhound is very smart and very agile with her mouth - because she had the inner treat out in under 10 minutes. Less than five minutes later, said treat was gone.

Both dogs like these. My older Aussie eats this a lot quicker, since she's very determined, but it still keeps her occupied for a bit and she enjoys working for it. I usually pick it up after a bit and give it to her her again later on so she doesn't finish in one sitting. Works great for putting in the crate with my 4 month old Aussie to keep him entertained. He more or less licks the treat and teethes on the rubber part. Refills are definitely more cost effective on Chewy.com than in the pet store.
