  • Broke within a week of using it.

    By on

I had one of these years ago and it was strong and I had no problems with it. I just started using this one less than a week ago and the orange button has already fallen off. I love the feel and the way this one is supposed to work but the quality is in question in my mind. It could be a fluke. I guess for a few dollars I would try it again

  • Parakeet (Budgie) Training Tool

    By on

I'm using the clicker to train my budgie to return to her cage. She is allowed to "free-fly" several hours a day. When she hears the clicker, she knows to return to the cage for one of her varied and healthy dinners. IF she ever escapes to outside, it is my hope the sound of the clicker will remind her of home location.

  • Must have for a blind dog!

    By on

Our dog recently went blind. Although he could follow our voices, I thought I'd try a clicker to help him better navigate his way...and it works! So happy with it I ordered another one for my husband so we don't have to share.

  • Clicker seems great. Durability is questionable?

    By on

I've been using this clicker for around a month or so. I like the sound and feel of the clicker. However, the orange button broke off. I don't believe I've done anything out of the ordinary, certainly have not abused, dropped, or been rough with the clicker. I'm need another clicker (not sure which brand), but not sure if longevity is typical with this particular brand. Tried to upload picture, but wouldn't load...

  • It works with cats!

    By on

In just a couple clicks my cat sits, lays and rolls. He comes from where ever he is in the house at the sound of the click. Love no batteries too.

  • Great Training Aid

    By on

I have never used this type of training aid before and had successfully trained other dogs without it. However, recently, we brought home a rescue that was extremely timid around people. He seemed to know some basic commands such as sit, down, but really wasn't responding to much else. After a few weeks of decompression, and another few weeks of using the clicker, he seems to have progressed quite nicely for a pup in his situation. I had my doubts that this would work but I was surprised how easily he picked up on what I was doing, expecting from him.

  • Clicker Dog Training - ????

    By on

Unfortunately it did not work for me. My dog just ignored the clicker and tried to chew on it. But I think if you start early on about 2 months or so, it would definitely work. My pup is 8 months old and set in his ways. We only adopted him when he was 4 1/2 months old. It didn't seem to get his attention.

  • Using this for cats is a mixed bag

    By on

I did buy this to work on training my cats, which I wasn't sure how that was going to go. One of my cats does not like the noise it makes (it's fairly loud), and will eat a treat or two but then walk away uninterested. One cat took to it immediately, and learns new tricks fairly quickly... he even gets excited to see it. It's a nice small size where I can hold it and treats in my hand unobtrusively. It would also be easy to pack any time we need to travel. I do wish it came with a small chain or something where I can attach it.
