  • My tiny dogs love these!

    By on

I used to feed my dogs the RAW / BARF diet, and have gotten lazier and lazier over time. Now, I feed these in combination with other Stella & Chewy dinner patty types. It's such a good solution to feeding super healthy, meat-centric meals without worrying about prep, thawing, etc. My dogs (6 lbs. and 7lbs.) LOVE these patties. In fact, they know the word "patties" means dinner time, lol. They're so small that they each get just 1 patty as a meal, crumbled with warm water added to reconstitute it. So a bag (admittedly expensive) lasts a pretty good long time. I highly recommend these.

  • Allergy dog's Nutriscan indicated rabbit

I always love how easy Chewy is and the fast delivery - 5 stars to this website every time! Great product to have on hand for convenience if you feed raw. My dog's Nutriscan food sensitivities saliva test showed the best protein option as rabbit. I've bought S&C frozen patties for several years in beef, lamb and surf & turf and appreciate the high quality ingredients. Rabbit is something new for me and I'm glad S&C has single protein since many rabbit products have a combination. Downside is rabbit is much more expensive than the other S&C proteins I've purchased. It is hard to always have frozen thawed and decided to give the freeze-dried a try. It is hard to always have frozen thawed and decided to give the freeze-dried a try. Both my dogs gobbled it up and licked the bowl long after it was empty! For a 40 pound dog the daily serving of this S&C is 9 patties which means the 15 ounce bag of freeze-dried is about 8 meals. The frozen S&C contains 12 meals. It costs me about 25% less to feed S&C frozen instead of this S&C freeze-dried. My 5 star is for quality, convenience and taste. However, I will buy this product only periodically to have on hand when I don't have a frozen patty thawed because it is simply too expensive an option as compared to what I pay for S&C frozen - ingredients same in both S&C varieties. … more

  • Finicky Husky

    By on

I think I own the pickiest Husky on earth (or he just enjoys torturing his mama). We've tried the chicken, beef, and rabbit, but so far the rabbit is the only one he'll eat. He'll even eat his dry kibble if I use this as a topper. So, win win I'd say.

  • Not just for dogs!

We use this to supplement our cat's food (warning: do not just feed this to cats as it is not designed for their needs) and she loves it. Bonus: she drinks water now which she never did before since we feed her wet food.

  • One of the better ones

I have 2 French Bulldogs (1.5yrs old & 6mos) who are ridiculously picky eaters. I've had them on the highest quality puppy kibble- which was ok for a short time then they got terrible tear stains & stopped eating it. I went to freeze-dried raw with my "first born" when he was about 6mos because it was all he would eat. I've tried most of the top-rated brands, but Stella & Chewy's is their fav. We rotate through most of the Stella & Chewy's varieties & the Rabbit one is definitely one of the ones they're more excited about. My only issue is that they seem to have downgraded their packaging because our last several bags of Stella & Chewy's has had defective seals that rip off or aren't aligned I have 2 French Bulldogs (1.5yrs old & 6mos) who are ridiculously picky eaters. It's the most frustrating thing! It seems others are having the same issue because I saw it in some other reviews. Hopefully they'll fix that issue. But despite the terrible packaging, the boys do enjoy the food for the most part so I'd say it's worth a try. … more

  • Absolutely rabbit ...absolutely loved!

Even though the patties were meant to feed our dogs, our cats are more than happy to push their heads in for a sample! Both enjoy the patties broken up and not rehydrated better, actually...must be their version of a potato chip! ^_^

  • Great to find a food that ONLY has rabbit

    By on

We have a furry child that has allergies and our vet wanted us to give him only rabbit and venison...it is so hard to find food that ONLY has these ingredients...some say venison, but when checking the label find it also has chicken. We are trying different foods to see what will help resolve his itching and ear problems.

  • For a Princess

My 4 lb. Papillon will only eat Stella and Chewys freeze dried food. It is a good thing she only eats 1 oz. of food daily. This food is pricey but she loves it.
