The proprietary K9 Strain probiotics are added after the kibble is cooked so your dog gets guaranteed live, active cultures that support healthy digestion.

Maximizing Nutrient Absorption

To help your pet's body absorb all of the beneficial minerals in her food, Taste of the Wild recipes have chelated minerals. That means they can easily attach to proteins for absorption during digestion. So your canine pal will enjoy the full value of every carefully selected mineral that these foods have to offer.

I'm not usually one to rant and rave about products publicly however my aunt (who's dogs are her children) told me about Taste of the Wild I looked up the ingredients and felt that the food was creme de la creme so I decided to order a bag through chewy.com . Not only does my picky puppy love his food and I can feel confident that I'm giving him only the best of the best but I'm so totally impressed with Chewy's shipping. First of all you get free shipping with orders over $49.00 Mooserson's food not including any extra treats I get him cost $49.99 and the part I'm most impressed with is that I can order his food at 1:00 in the afternoon and by 10:20 in morning the next day its delivered to my I'm not usually one to rant and rave about products publicly however my aunt (who's dogs are her children) told me about Taste of the Wild I looked up the ingredients and felt that the food was creme de la creme so I decided to order a bag through chewy.com . • Amazing food for my two pups!!

    By on

When I first got my two long haired Dachshunds, I was nervous about getting them the right nutritions they need for their bodies! My breeder I got my two girls from suggested this for them and I'm happy to say they are happy and healthy pups! They are of course long haired so finding the right kind that doesn't allow that much shedding and allows a soft coat is exactly what this dog food did for us!!! Another positive of this dog food is that one of them was really underweight since she was the run of the family, so This food helped her gained weight and even over pass the other pup! I am so happy and thankful for Chewys services! • Great food for my puppy

My Dad introduced me to TOTW years ago. When we adopted our border collie/shepherd puppy at Christmas we started her out on this food. She eats it right down. Her coat has come in soft and beautiful and it's the first thing that people say about her, how soft her coat is. She has also gained an appropriate amount of weight and we have had no issues with digestion/absorption. I look forward to transitioning off the puppy food in a few months so she can branch out to try the other flavors TOTW offers for adult food.

  • My puppy loves it!

My 8 wk old yellow lab loves this! I did a ton of research on dog food before I brought her home & this one had the best reviews and is still a decent price. My puppy had been on a common store brand and was a little small in the two weeks I've had her she's gained weight, her coat is softer & she's regular! We use some kibble as training treats too and she doesn't even care. Very happy with this brand and excited chewy brings it to my door!

  • The best of the best!

    By on

This is literally the best dog food. My dog cannot resist it. I switched my puppy from blue wilderness. I hated all the recalls and she never wanted to eat it. I also learned that blue wilderness doesn't put full meat in their product but "meat flavor". I switched to taste of the wild dry dog food and I mix it with taste of the wild canned dog food and my puppy eats it all. She loves it. And they have great ingredients!

  • Best food yet!

    By on

This food is amazing! All of my dogs switched to this food and I have had nothing but positive things happening from it. Shiny coats, eat like champs, and no runny poo! Kibble is good sized for all 3 of my pups (ranging from 2 lbs to 60 lbs)! Taste of the Wild, I am forever a customer!

Been experimenting with the top brands. Those considered by industry & users as the priciest but top quality. The puppies seem to love this taste of the wild stuff. You open the bag and it has that real food smell. Maybe that's why they go nuts over them. This will be the first pick for my large goldendoodles. They do have Wellness, Merrick, Orijen but observation is they eat like savages when I serve them Taste's. But whatever, i could be making stuff up lol. Woof!

I rescue & have my own pack of standard poodles and some small poodles. I get calls from all over to rescue. A veterinarian from Michigan phoned when 3 very badly abused adults and 4 puppies were seized from a breeder. They were not eating His staff were overwhelmed with so many other of the dogs. I got the standards back to Georgia & they started out eating Blue. The puppies were starving but had diarrhea. I transitioned them to this TOTW slowly. They did great. Each puppy gained 4 to 5 pounds a week. After 7 weeks, they had gained weight, were full of energy, healthy, & all their ear & eye infections were gone. Each pup found approved, safe, & loving homes. • Picky Dog Super Happy!!

When I brought my labradoodle pup home from the breeder she was on a kibble that I was not impressed with. I had another brand in mind, but trying to switch her was unsuccessful. I was told about TOTW, so I thought I would try it. I did a hard switch and she loved it, she gobbled up the very first bowl with no issues! Her coat is beautiful and soft, and she does seem as itchy as she was on the breeders food.

  • Quality Ingredients, puppy loves it

    By on

My puppy has been eating Natural balance since we brought her home in November. We love natural balance, but we needed to switch her to a grain free formula. A chewy rep. suggested this brand, so I decided to give it a try. As soon as I opened the bag, I noticed an aromatic smell, and my puppy was curious. I was very pleased with all of the ingredients, and the different protein sources other than chicken. She loves it, and we will definitely be buying this brand again for her.
