Transition Instructions

When changing to Taste of the Wild, we recommend making a gradual transition over 7-10 days to help avoid possible digestive upset in sensitive pets. Add a small amount of new food to your dog’s previous diet, gradually increasing the new and decreasing the previous diet until the transition is complete.

Rated 5 out of 5 by My 7 month old black lab pup loves it. My black lab puppy came home from the breeder on a Pro Plan Puppy diet. He developed severe diarrhea and we could never clear it up. Someone recommended Taste of the Wild Puppy food. We tried High Prairie Puppy formula. Even though he did improve, he still had problems. We called Taste of the Wild and they connected us to their resident Vet. She was extremely helpful and suggested we try Taste of the Wild Pacific Stream Puppy Formula Dry Dog Food, explaining that perhaps High Prairie formula was too rich for his sensitive stomach. She also reimbursed us for the money spend on our original purchase. Her suggestion was spot on and our pup is doing fantastic. My pup and I could not be more pleased with the high quality products, wonderful customer service and the knowledge they shared to help rectify our problem. I would give them 6 stars if I could. Great company with a fantastic product. October 28, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Many different flavors for every Stage of Life After my 1st purchase with chewy.com, I will be making my Monthly Food purchases through them from now on. Better Price, No hassle on inventory or taking time out of your busy schedule to get to a specific store before they close and I was concerned that the Bag may be damaged in shipment but the 30lb bag was packaged and delivered without issue. I love the option of setting up Auto Ship and hope to do so in the future. Also, Taste of the Wild is fed to my 6yr and 5mo Boxer, 5 Stars always for this Brand but having the extensive product choice is much better than going locally and only having 2 flavor options. Rated 5 out of 5 by Great for skin allergies Our American Pitbull terrier is unfortunate with allergies that affect his skin, after attempts with a lot of different and even much more expensive dog food, this Salmon Taste of the Wild was the cure all. Yeast infections in his paws? Gone. Skin allergies on his legs and belly? Gone. Constant tear duct drip and stain? Gone. Right now he is on the puppy formula but when he is ready for the "big dog stuff" he will be on it. I like that the ingredients are of quality and that it's made here in the states. I am very proud to give this food to our pup, so satisfied that our two cats have now made the transition to Taste of the Wild as well. October 20, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by No more diarrhea! My lab/border collie mix puppy has had stomach issues from day one! After a friend recommended a grain-free and salmon diet, Chewy helped me find the perfect puppy formula. Not only has the diarrhea completely clear up, but the fish oil has given her coat a healthy shine. Overall, she's a healthier and happier puppy! October 30, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Stuff We bought this dry food after doing some research on this brand, I noticed that they got great reviews. Our new German Shepherd puppy gobbles it up with some of the moist food from the same brand. It leaves her coat soft and shiny. October 25, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great food for Large breed puppies I had my labrador on this from 3 months to a full year and she thrived on this food. We had been on Wellness prior to that but she developed an allergy to the poultry base and we were suggested TOTW by our local pet store, she has gobbled it up most of the time. She did however stop eating it for a few weeks but I threw in some pureed pumpkin and... poof... the food is gone. The selling point for me was how shiny her coat looked, every where we went someone would comment on how shiny her black coat was and if I was doing anything different but it was just the food. TOTW is a great brand and like others have noted, I love that there are so many flavors so my pup can have more of a variety to her pallet rather than the same stuff her whole life. High Prairie here we come! September 25, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good Puppy Chow Transitioned our pup to this food and he seems to love it. No tummy problems with the transition so this is good; it's a small kibble so it's easy for our pup to eat and digest. So far so good...for now we're keeping him on this food. October 24, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great food for allergies I have 4 English bulldogs, some are picky eaters and some have food allergies to certain ingredients so it has been nearly impossible to find a food that they all can and will eat. After 2 weeks of feeding Taste Of The Wild I can honestly say this is the best food I've tried. They all love the taste and it has helped with their allergies tremendously, no more itchy scratchy or tear stains! Finally we are a one food household and I'm so happy! Definitely recommend this food! October 18, 2016
