Transition Instructions

When changing to Taste of the Wild, we recommend making a gradual transition over 7-10 days to help avoid possible digestive upset in sensitive pets. Add a small amount of new food to your dog’s previous diet, gradually increasing the new and decreasing the previous diet until the transition is complete.

Rated 5 out of 5 by My dog love this food My dog turbo isn't exactly a "picky" eater but he knows good food compared to not so good food. He's a year and a half and I first had him on blue buffalo but after reading some not so great things I took him off it then due to financial issues I had to go cheap for a while and had him on purina and he barely touched it. I spoke to a co worker who's sister has her dog on taste of the wild and I said I'll try it out. Turbo has tried 3 flavors so far and he devours them all. We are now on this flavor 30 lb bag because he is just loving it. We're gonna try some more flavors in the future. It makes me so happy seeing him get excited when I grab the food dish. I reccomend this food any chance I get. October 29, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great for my Dane My Great Dane love this food, and the best part it's good for him. I've had no problems with my dog stomach which is very sensitive. Can see a change is his behavior for the best since he started eating this dog food. October 27, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by My dog loves it! My dog was being very picky with what dry food I was feeding her and as soon as I tried a sample bag of this, she was hooked and now we are two 30 lb bags in and she likes it exactly the same! October 26, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Dog loves it! This dog food rates highly and my dog does really like it. We are only 1/4 of the way through the initial bag, but so far so good. The only downside so far is: if you feed your dog a dog food that is mostly fish, expect no improvement to his breath. October 21, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by My dogs love them My dogs love ATaste of the Wild! I have 2 dogs, my one dog is a picky eater and she loves this food. Actually she likes all the flavors we've tried. My dogs coats look shiny and healthy and I love that chewy.com carries this brand because it's so convenient to get it delivered right to my door! October 19, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by great product My dog has intolerance to poultry. We have tried different foods, but most have some type of poultry. This food is great! She loves it, she's gained some of the weight she lost due to poultry products, feels great, and she's happy. October 13, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Amazing Results - No gas! I bought Taste of the Wild Sierra Mountain Roasted Lamb dog food because it has better ingredients, no grain and lists meat as the first and primary ingredient. My dogs were having problems with gas and their coats looked kind of dull even though I was feeding them a quality dog food. After switching to TOW, with very little easing them into it, I immediately noticed by dogs did not have a problem with gas. Within a few days, their coats were shining like they had been oiled! They have a ton of energy and love eating the food! I ran out for a little while and had to use Diamond Lamb and Rice. OMG! Gas, gas, gas! Almost had to buy a gas mask until my TOW came again! I kept my outside dogs on my old dog food. No comparison! Their coats are not nearly as shiny and they don't eat the food as well. I'm now mixing TOW in with their old food and will soon have all 6 of my dogs on the food. It is definitely worth the extra money I pay just to see the difference this food makes in my dogs.
