Transition Instructions

Rated 1 out of 5 by from They changed the formula My dogs loved this food until the last two bags I purchased. The kibble changed shape from round dark colored kibble to light flat kibble and it smells horrible now. I think they changed the formula even though the ingredient list is still the same. I have 3 dogs (one of which will eat anything) and none of them will touch the stuff. I had to switch to another brand.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finally a solution to GSD diarrhea!! Ok I've been a die hard Wellness Grain Free fan for years and all my animals have loved it. Then I rescued two German Shepherds and they had nothing but stomach problems and we couldn't figure out why. We tried raw diet, meds, pumpkin and everything the vet recommended and still it continued. Then the rescue mentioned they fed the dogs Taste of the Wild so out of desperation we bought a bag and the dogs are ecstatic! I got three flavors and this by far was their favorite. My very picky eater that I tried (no kidding) 15 kinds of food to find something he would eat actually knocked the bag over to get to it and once open stuck his head right in to eat out of the bag! Within a few days on this food ALL the diarrhea cleared up and no more messy accidents to come home to. Yeah! And their coats feel awesome. I always considered Wellness a high quality food, but I'm now a convert and a fan for life. Thanks Chewy and Taste of the Wild!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from My non-picky English Bulldog doesn't like it. My 7 year old English Bulldog has to have limited ingredients kibble. On each 20+ lb order of food I try to give her a Chang of taste while staying in her limited diet. We have done Go salmon and Acana lamb and apple prior to this TOTW southwest canyon. She is not a picky eater, always finishing her one cup servings....until now! This TOTW southwest canyon kibble is never finished when I feed her. She will eat a few bites and walk away for a few hours and then go back. When I give her some of the Acana or Go she still finishes them without walking away. She just doesn't like this TOTW. We have a 28 lb bag that I may end up donating if she continues to not eat it. I am very disappointed because I liked the ingredient list on it for her nutrition and diet needs.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Dogs love it! Skin and ear problems getting better! I found the new Wild Boar flavor locally and tried a bag, 4 of 5 Cockers absolutely LOVE it. After being on another food for several years with lots of skin allergies, now their skin and yeast ear infections are SO much better after being on Taste of the Wild Bison flavor for the past few months. They don't like the Salmon or Lamb formulas but love the Bison and now are really loving the new Wild Boar. Their stools are firm and smaller (as they are utilizing more of the food since it's isn't full of fillers) and they have slimmed down some also. The auto ship is really handy, and saves me the stress, the gas, and the 9% sales tax in Alabama, so I love the ease of ordering and having it delivered monthly. The only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the Canola Oil in it, would like the manufacturer to know it should be replaced with a healthier oil. Chewy.com is a great company to order from, food comes in 2 or 3 days from way up North to Lower Alabama.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from My dogs weren't a fan I've been feeding my dogs Taste or the Wild for a couple years now. I try to change up the flavor now and then. This is honestly the first one they were not interested in at all! Even my youngest boy who typically eats anything. I had just a little bit mixed in with their regular food and he either spit it out peices as he ate or wouldn't eat at all. I was surprised. And my other two just wouldn't touch it. They are usually more excited to eat when I change it up, definitely not this time. I'll have to try another flavor.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My bullies love this food!!! This is a very good high way food for your pet. I am a bully breeder and am a big fan of the noticeable health benefits it has. Although pricy I mix it with another taste of the wild flavor and my bullies.
