Description

Rawrrrr! Don't let the name fool you. Tuffy's Destructosaurus Dino Dog Toy is better at taking abuse than dishing it out. This massive dinosaur is tough enough to bring the fun to even the biggest dog on the block. And because paleontologists believe Destructosaurus was equally at home lounging in the living room or playing at the pool, this Dino Dog Toy is made to float! *Destructosaurus does not squeak!  *This product was recently featured on the Today Show on NBC!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Didn't think my dog could have a plush My Belgian Shepherd bites through firehouse material and I've been very impressed with how Destructosaurus has held up. It's her favorite toy. There are squeakers in the tiny arms and she did manage to bite through and pull those out the first day we had it. (I thought that was the end of the thing,) But it has held on for three more weeks with no damage beyond that. The seams are great and the fabric is thick, but the real winner is the stuffing. It's so very very tightly packed that she can't get purchase to scissor through the fabric with her back teeth. She grabs it and shakes it. I pick her up with her holding this thing and it has stayed tough. Probably won't hold up to a dog who needs Kong-level toys, but if you'd like to buy your dog a plush, this is the toughest one you're going to find. The smaller ones are tough too. Maybe start with the pterodactyl and if that lasts reasonably well, go for this big boy. January 6, 2017
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good for big dogs who love to chew Very tough. Lots of different areas with plenty of stuffing. A little expensive but worth it June 17, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by worth every penny i had my doubts about paying this much $ for a toy but it has really been worth it - all of our dogs and even one of our cats love this thing. Mind you, it's roughly 4X the size of the cat but it's apparently compelling, nonetheless. my mastiff cross and my PWD usually go thru toys in short order but we've had this one for months and they haven't been able to make much of a dent. They DO drag it around with them and love to play with it and nibble on it - it's just THAT durable. July 12, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by Not very tuff! I got this for my Great Danes 1st birthday and it lasted exactly 15 before she tore it to pieces. She's not overly hard on toys and doesn't tear them up just to do it, that being said it I thought the quality was poor. This may be a great toy for a chihuahua but nothing larger. November 20, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Ready for Summer! So far, so good -- this toy is still "standing"! A shark -- made by the same manufacturer -- lasted a few short weeks, however. Since he floats, Destructosaurus will be great for the pool. April 7, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by only for a very large dog Since my cavachon is only 20 lbs, he wasn't really interested in this toy. So, we paid it forward and gave it to a friend. Their golden doodle loves it! January 13, 2013
