I noticed my dog staring at the antler after he had chewed on it for a few days. I looked but couldn't see anything. It was smelly....never had that happen before. I decided to put it in a ziplock bag and see what happened. The next morning there were little white worms crawling in the bag. Yuck!
Got a refund. Want to take it to the vet and let him determine what kind of worms my dog had bee eating and watching crawl on the carpet....I am grossed out!

Rated 4 out of 5 by jackchow Elk antler
Both dogs love the elk antlers. I bought this smaller size for my 5 month old pup. The picture is somewhat deceiving as it appeared to be thicker. Still my pup enjoys it. His year old "brother" constantly buries it in our furniture . Lol

Rated 3 out of 5 by mmwindustrial Smaller than I had hoped
I bought a large. The knuckle was of good size but the antler end was narrow. My guy is an aggressive chewer. Only the knuckle has survived after one week. Too much money for only one week. Will try to get a larger diameter one next time.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Lovemydogs My dogs love these.
My dogs like these and they seem to help the buildup on their teeth. I just bought some for their Christmas stockings and for my grandpups. Yes they each get a stocking.

Rated 2 out of 5 by GirlyGirl Dog Snubbed Elk Antler
I usually purchase elk antlers from another source but thought I'd give these a try because they were a tad bit cheaper. My dog snubbed it and she is usually obsessed with them. I have no idea why though... Maybe it's not fresh?? It's also much smaller then I expected.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Leila good but noisy and heavy
1. Dog loves it.
2. Antler is a clean chew toy; it does not mess the floor, the dog bed, etc.
3. Antler is heavy, and when it falls onto the floor it is noisy. We have wood floors and it makes an unpleasant crash each time it falls to floor from dog bed, which is only 6 inches. The sound dominates the space, interrupting conversation, tv, my own thoughts. Was just thinking that it might damage tile floors if dropped on those... Would be like dropping a wrench on the floor.
5. Dog loves it. She can have in crate, outside, or on carpeted surfaces.

Rated 5 out of 5 by hmcapel Best Antler Ever!!!
This bone keeps my dog engaged in chewing while I am reading or simply wanting to relax. She loves it! And I love seeing her snuggle up with me, holding her Elk Antler between her paws, and gnawing away. I have set this up for auto-ship... and I don't see any reason while it will not last month to month. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS ONE TO LAB OWNERS.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Leslielovesdogs great for my heavy chewer
I ordered the xl antler for my 10 month old pocket pit puppy thinking, from the reviews, that it would be a good, long lasting product. For the most part I'm satisfied! It certainly speaks to how heavy of a chewer my pup is to say that we've had it for 5 days and he's made a significant dent in it already! But, it's large, it hasn't splintered once, and it's still here! Rawhide are gone in minutes, and cow hooves, which have sufficiently appeased my three other mild chewers, are broken into pieces and swallowed whole by the puppy in under thirty minutes, so something had to give! The elk antler we got is about a foot long and two inches wide, and is bound to last him for another couple of weeks at least. He loves the marrow and will spend hours chewing at it, but I'm happy he hasn't managed to swallow any pieces yet! I will certainly be ordering more of these - while a little pricey, it's certainly less than having to take my pup to the vet for surgery to have a cow hoof obstruction removed, and it greatly satisfies his puppy primal need to chew!
