  • It works!!!

    By on

I first tried another spray that did not work as a week later I still had fleas jumping off my dog. I tried Knockout after reading reviews and I can say after a week - NO FLEAS! We sprayed furniture, carpets, around the floor were the dogs beds are and vacuumed daily for a week straight. A lot of work but I have heard horror stories on fleas getting out of control and I was not having it. I made sure I had windows open and a fan blowing the air out of the house to avoid a chemical smell lingering in the house. I would recommend and will use again if needed.

  • Knockout worked on a tough flea problem!

    By on

Our house was infested (even though our cats are indoor-only). We tried a lengthy remedy using a powder-based treatment where the powder had to be swept into our carpets. Required extensive vacuuming. Did not work. Bought Knockout next, based on a friend's recommendation. Our miserable kitties finally experienced some relief. Me too, since the fleas were biting my ankles! Two cans were enough for our house and my car, which also became infested after a trip to the vet. Sprayed carpet and undersides of upholstery. Killed all the fleas. I can't recommend this product enough. Chewy's quick shipping time was a huge help, too.

  • Bestever spray

A kennel owner recommended this spray to me. I was thrilled to find it on Chewy at a very reasonable price. Not stinky, sprays great.. just where it's pointed, and best of all it works. I have been battling the fleas for the first time in seven years. This has helped me gain control and I will reorder and recommend it to anyone !

  • Basement flea infestation, cat household

    By on

Putting down an established flea infestation is a very, very tough job. It is best to use professional help as we eventually did, for our basement. New York State has regulations which prevent residents from buying pesticides that pro's are licensed to use, such as Tempo SC and Temprid. We tried a couple of over the counter products, foggers and fumigators, which did nothing at all that we could observe. Then we used a can of Virbac Knockout ES Spray, which made a significant difference for about 24 hours. It does work. Perhaps if you use a lot of it, several cans or more, you may find it sufficient for your particular problem. Perhaps if you use a lot of it, several cans or more, you may find it sufficient for your particular problem. Beyond the above comments, the first and most important point is the following. It is imperative to use Advantage II topical imidacloprid on all your cats at the recommended intervals. Advantage II really works close to perfectly and kills everything on the cats. But one must be aware that if there are any fleas alive or hatching out in the cat's environment, they will reappear on the cats. Our flea infestation occurred because we took in a homeless outdoor cat that was domesticated, but relatively hard to handle. I therefore failed to treat him in a timely manner with Advantage II even though we had plenty on hand. I know better, but I blew it, and we paid the price. One last point is just a matter of common sense, but it has been very important for us. Get everybody in your household white pants and socks and wear nothing else in the area of infestation while the fleas are present. You must be able to see them on your clothing or you yourself will carry them everywhere. … more

  • Knocked out the fleas!

    By on

Our family went away on vacation for a week and it got very humid in the house. My cat and dog both wear a serresto collar but I got attacked by fleas when we came home. I think they were lying dormant. I vacuumed every day, I put down baking soda and made flea traps...nothing worked. I ordered knockout on a Tues and got it the very next day because chewy.com has the fastest shipping ever! After I sprayed the house down within an hour I had no more fleas and it's supposed to keep killing them for 7 months afterwards. I would recommend this product. It's faster and more effective than doing a flea bomb.

  • The REAL DEAL!

    By on

I had been struggling for months to get a flea problem under control with my one dog. I was doing everything I could to treat my dog directly (shampoos, flea collars, etc) and using a different brand of indoor spray but with very little success. I used one can of Knockout and the problem is solved! This stuff is FANTASTIC!

  • Kills but doesn't treat the amount stated

    By on

Bought some of this from my vet and I thought one can would work because my house is less than 1000 square feet. I followed the directions it sprayed very little and foamed everywhere. It only treated my tiny living room! How am I supposed to get rid of fleas in the rest of my house if it only treats a tiny 100 square foot area? So much for getting rid of fleas.

  • Good Product

I have used it and have not had any problems with fleas. As far as the spray amount, there is enough in the can, just don't over spray!

  • Not sure if it works

    By on

I treated my carpets with Virbac after using oral and topical medications to get rid of existing fleas on my dogs. Good news is the Virbac doesn't smell. Bad news is that the dogs still have fleas. Obviously, something didn't work.

Great product. Very strong. Be sure to remove pets, and cover all food and water dishes (I moved them out of the room).
