Rated 3 out of 5 by Price Recommended but beware...
My dogs love these split elk antlers and stay entertained chewing for days and even up to approx. 2 weeks. It is great that they can get to the center marrow. However my dogs can and do easily chew really sharp splintered pieces off of the edges. I have to keep a closer eye on them with this type of antler so that I can collect the splintered pieces from them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Rainy77 Our guys love 'em!
Both our labs love these. They're splits, which are better for the old guy, but it does mean they disappear faster. Did I mention they love these? They're not bleached, but I've never noticed any more than a mild smell--but that's enough to make my boys jump for joy and do happy dances when I pull them out of the cupboard. I've been warned to stick with reputable suppliers, to avoid bacterial/ameobic issues, and we've never had problems (with these or any purchased from Chewy).
I've seen reviews from people upset because they've disappeared quickly--I think that's an official seal of approval. I've also never received one that was too small or smaller than described--contact Chewy if it happens to you!! They've never disappointed me with customer service.

Rated 5 out of 5 by JandJ Best antlers for large dogs
I don't know where Wapiti gets these antlers, but they are the best and biggest commercially-produced I've found. Most places, a "xl" or "giant" antler will be 8 inches long, sure, but barely an inch in diameter and a hazard to a large dog because they can get the antler between their molars and chip a tooth. These are huge and my dog loves them. Even the large/xl size is more than big enough for my 60lb dog and her 100lb Dane buddy. They are a little expensive, true, but the only place I've found better quality and truly "giant" size antlers is on eBay from sellers who comb the woods to find the sheds and cut them themselves.

Rated 1 out of 5 by juggle Horrible smell and they splinter quickly
Within the first 10 minutes, our 90 lb. Golden Retriever/Great Pyrenees mix broke two very sharp splinters off from the 8-inch chew (for dogs 40 lbs. and over), and I had to remove them immediately. The picture is deceiving - they're not full antlers; they're actually sawed in half, length-wise, and once our dog got to the marrow center (at about 15 minutes' chew time), we couldn't take the horrible smell anymore and disposed of it. The odor is reminiscent of an old, wet tire left to rot in the summer sun, and it fills a room quickly.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Boppy Dogs didn't enjoy them as much as other brand
I am disappointed they my Newfoundlands aren't enjoying these as much as other brands I've purchased from another company that specializes in antler chews. I purchased the XL size which was much smaller than the other brand and they don't seem interested in them. They devoured the other ones I bought.

Rated 5 out of 5 by lalaland wonderful for my maltitzu
La La loves, loves, loves this! I couldn't give him anything he liked as much! He is in puppy heaven! I'm happy because these are naturally shed. Wonderful! I only rated less than perfect because his mouth is narrower than the horn, so he chews a big V into one side and then can t go any farther. If there's a way he can enjoy all (or almost all) of the piece, I would give it the highest rating. Thanks for a great product!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Dellie1950 Great size. Dog loved it. Only problem was the mess left behind.
My 4 year old Pembroke Welsh Corgi loved his Small to Medium sized Elk Antler Split. He worked on it for several hours. I was impressed by its generous size. The only criticism I have is the Center of the split appears to be a bit soft and leaves debris scattered around.
