I researched FOREVER to figure out the right food for our boxer puppy. The rescue center she came from was giving her some cheap standard food and our vet recommended putting her on something more nutritious. I loved the idea of this food, it checked all the boxes for prerequisites I had read about dog food, one of those being the high protein content which was harder to find than I expected.
However, my dog hated this food. We had to mix in things to get her to eat it (chicken broth, wet food, warm water). Even when she was hungry she wouldn't eat it dry, and I had read other reviews that mentioned this same issue. Also, her poop was touch and go. Diarrhea has always been an issue for her and it was off and on with this food. Now we're on the Natural Balance LID food and her poop has been the most consistently normal than it's ever been in the year we've had her.
Moral of the story, I learned what I'm sure most pet owners already know but I had to learn the hard way - no matter how well meaning you are, trying to give your pet the best of the best food, you have to be honest with yourself and give them what they want to eat and what agrees with their tummies. I think this food was too rich for our little boxer so we moved on, but I still think this food is worth a try for other pet owners.

Rated 5 out of 5 by CalisMommy SUPERIOR TO ZIGNATURE FOR OUR ALLERGIC PUP
Our 6 mo. old boxer puppy loved her old food (Zignature - Salmon and Trout), but she seems to be allergic to it. Her eyes were always very red and weepy on the old food. PLus there was A LOT of waste. She's now on 50%/50% old food and Wellness Core and her eyes are barely pink and the weepiness is almost gone. She also defecates a lot less. We plan to go 100% with Wellness Core after finishing a gradual transition. After all, our pup is a boxer, one of the most gastrologically sensitive breeds alive. Don't want to shock her little system. BTW, she wolfs down the Wellness Core.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Cbacon3 Fixed my German Shepherd puppy lose stool problems
I was previously feeding my puppy royal canin german shepherd puppy food until I decided to check the ingredients a couple months after I got my puppy. I have wondered why his stool was consistently soft and overfeeding and bad diet were two causes. I switched his food over a 1.5 week period to Wellness puppy food (not the grain free food) and he still had lose stools so it had to be overfeeding. Turns out it was a bad diet. Once I switched him to this grain free food over a 1.5 week period and he has completely normal stools and a ton of energy (very noticeable). Anyway, I hope you have as good of a time with this food as I have!

Rated 3 out of 5 by DJSFO Wellness CORE Grain-Free Puppy Formula Dry Dog Food
it has the ingredients and size for a small dog which is what I was looking for. But my dog did not like its test very much and started eating less food. And a puppy needs to eat normally!! however other dogs may like it??

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jackie A Great Grain-Free Dog Food
This is an excellent option if you want a grain-free dog food. Very highly ranked among grain-free foods and has been very easy to digest for my puppy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Dee58 I thought the spoiled brats would like it
Apparently my poms dont like the food because the only one who eats it is my pitbull. If I can cancel this it would be great because it is not working out of them.
