Rated 5 out of 5 by Blaine Same health benefit as the dry food
My yellow lab was not eating the wellness dry food readily so I bought the can food to add to it and now she gobbles it down the minute I set it on floor. Just enough to give it flavor. I think the wellness dry food is really healthy food but she just wanted a little more flavor.

by LoriC2583 Great Food!
I started giving my beagle puppy, Snoopy Girl, Wellness Grain Free Puppy Formula Canned Dog food a few weeks ago because she wasn't enjoying her dry kibble of the same brand and formula! I loved what Wellness had to offer as far as being a 5 star brand of dog food, but I wanted her to also enjoy eating it! With the canned version, Snoopy comes running as soon as she hears me get her dish ready! She LOVES her food now!! She is only 6 months old and her requirement is half a can per serving but she would eat the whole can at once if I let her! She has a beautiful coat and her teeth are gleaming white! I plan on giving her the adult formula once she is a year old. My puppy and I are happy with Wellness and we are extremely happy about the service Chewy provides with automatic delivery! Chewy is the best pet store there is! My only wish is that there was a Chewy store in my city that I could actually go to, but their shipping is FAST and I never have to wait long for my purchase!

Rated 5 out of 5 by JilleBean12 It Stinks, but my pup loves it!
I have a 5 month old miniature dachshund. When we first brought him home we purchased a brand name dry dog food for him. After a trip to the vet we were told he was too skinny. I started noticing he would only pick at his dry food and not finish the bowl so I looked for a wet food to mix with the dry food. I purchased a few different brands of wet food, one being the same brand as his dry food, and both worked, he ate everything but I noticed he seemed lethargic and didn't have the energy a puppy should. I also noticed a lot of dander on him and his skin was always itchy. I did some research and discovered Wellness Core has a very high fat and protein content and is very low in carbs. Which is the ideal diet for a growing puppy. The other two brands did have more fat and protein than carbs but the percentage of carbs compared to Wellness was significantly higher. I must say I am very pleased with this food even though it smells pretty bad. My pup has a ton of energy. He eats every bit of food in his dish and his black coat is soft and shiny and he has little to no dander. Great food for a puppy! Definitely recommend!

Hard to write. I really believe in the product and like it very much. The only problem is my puppy did not like the taste and would not eat it. He just walked away and ignored it. If it doesn't attract him and he won't need it but I guess it doesn't matter how good it is.

Tried a few different wet food puppy formulas, and this one our dogs (German Shep. and Golden Ret.) go nuts for. Smells like liver sausage. Yummy !

My 2 puppies love this food. I mix it with some dry Core grain free puppy chow and they snarf it up. One of the reasons I switched to this was because my 8 month old maltipoo developed coprophagia. So gross! That has completely stopped now that he's on a grain free meat diet. He also has stopped scratching all the time. I rate this food 5 stars for how good it is for my dogs but it does have a somewhat unpleasant smell. I won't stop feeding it just because I don't like the smell though. My dogs are so healthy and energetic, and they probably would refuse to eat anything else now!
